I thought the demo was great since it's so similar to one of my favorite games, Psi-Ops.
In comment #16 he says Heavy Rain isn't the game he was talking about. I wonder if it will be shown at TGS. http://www.bbc.co.uk/blogs/...
I still can't believe MGS4 doesn't have trophies or in-game hard drive music via the iPod. I thought that functionality would surely have been added by now.
I agree as well. Overall I like the environment/models of Heavy Rain a lot more than anything in Crysis (which I think is an awful game), but I was coming from a purely technical standpoint in which no game really comes close to Crysis, polygon for polygon. Saying Heavy Rain has the best graphics ever is taking it a bit too far.
It does look great, but I don't think it tops Crysis.
Since PS2 games are DVDs, all it's doing is reading the data on the disc and decoding it in a certain way so that the PS3 game knows what to do with it. Not much different from any other DVD you put into the system. It doesn't mean that 40GB models have the ability to play PS2 titles. Your normal PC DVD drive can also get the files off any PS2 disc.
I bet the real reason the 3000 is being released is due to some major changes on the motherboard so that they can eliminate Pandora battery use by Sony repair technicians and regular consumers. I find it hard to believe that they would create a completely new model simply to add a mic and a slightly improved screen.
That's a lot of assumptions to be making about something that's not out yet. Why not wait until it releases to see if Blizzard still has the magic?
In the future, if possible, you should try to avoid buying hardware of that type from Best Buy. A 2.5 in. 320 GB Sata drive is $99 on Newegg.com.
Yep, it comes out the week before these games(Oct.15). I'm going to get that along with LBP, Socom, Fable 2, and Fallout 3.
Yep and the silver ring on the back is a bit thinner. So the leaked pictures from a few weeks ago were real.
I wish they would release the Advent Children Blu-ray/FF13 demo over here at the same time as Japan. I know they said no localization will be done on the game until it's released in Japan, but sending a 2 hour demo over to Square-Enix NA for localization wouldn't take much time at all. The movie itself is already ready to go.
Yeah I wish I had the original spelling, but I didn't learn of the correct spelling until somewhat recently. I had been using this one since my Dreamcast PSO days, so I stuck with it.
I'm guessing the 720 will be nearly indestructible (internally). The PS4 will be as easy to program for as a Dreamcast or Xbox. With the Wii 2, I'm guessing Nintendo will finally have HD graphics, another innovative type of feature, and the same kind of games they currently have so they don't lose their new fanbase.
She also looks nothing like the traditional Lara Croft. More like a random cosplayer.
You can get the same experience out of a PC. Just about all the 360/PC ports have support for the controller and newer graphics cards have HDMI ports. My graphics card has a DVI to HDMI adapter which somehow also outputs audio to the TV.
If the chainsaw doesn't work on real people..I mean Locusts, then it's not worth it.
My problem with the first one is that it was nothing like the "Project Ego" that Molyneux went on and on about. If you take the game for what it is, it's great and one of my favorite Xbox games, but it still falls far short of what was promised. I haven't paid any attention to Fable 2 at all so I can avoid any disappointment (all I know is that it has a dog). I'll just pick it up on day one with no expectations other than a great game.
Microsoft's official stance before the 360 launched was, "There are going to be levels of security in this box that the hacker community has never seen before," but he admitted that "I'm sure sooner or later someone will work out how to circumvent security." Given about 25 minutes, anyone can have a modded 360, so I'm guessing that didn't work out too well. MS needs to stop using normal PC connections in their systems, such as the DVD drive's sata and molex connector. Thou...
This is why everyone should keep a regular Xbox around. Plays just about everything from Atari up to N64 with no hardware modification.
