Just picked this up not too long ago since I heard it was good, but haven't played it too much yet. I'll definitely have to use the mod.
I doubt it was an afterthough for many of the games on the list. The developers have known about rumble long before it was confirmed to the public by Sony. There was even a Haze video last year around July that showed a vibrating Dualshock, but they blurred out the controller(not well enough apparently). DMC4 was certainly built with rumble in mind since the 360 game has this feature.
This game is going to be largely ignored by the masses if they don't release it at the perfect time. I'm guessing 2009 would be a better time to release it.
Many people prefer to have one IR universal remote to control everything. This device now makes it possible to control the PS3, so it's not exactly useless for some people out there.
So this is just a glorified memory stick holder? Why not just put your four memory sticks in your pocket for free?
I own both, but I hardly ever use the 360 anymore unless its to stream a file that won't work on the PS3 or to play an exclusive that's not out on PC. For FPS games I would prefer the 360 and its controller, but for something like GTA4, I'd get the PS3 version since I've always played it with a Dualshock.
I have a dual core system and my cpu usage remains at 0-3% when idle. I have never had any problems with Vista and Oblivion seems to run even better after installing SP1.
I wonder how long it will take for a disgruntled WoW player to kill someone with it and say he thought he was doing a real life raid or was trying to level up.
I just started Persona 3 not too long ago and it's great. Can't wait until 4 and hopefully P5 will be on PS3.
Does the demo for this game actually look like these screenshots for anyone? There's always aliasing all over the cars when I play. Especially around the front grill and the doors.
While it's true that some of the stories may not be real (I think this one is), every person I know with a 360 except my own(not yet) has had to send it in at least once to be repaired. After seeing that happen to about a dozen friends, I tend to believe that just about all the RROD stories are most likely true.
I was just looking for this game not too long ago after seeing so many people recommend it, but I couldn't find it anywhere for a reasonable price. At least now I can look forward to the FES version in a few weeks.
The title seems pretty accurate to me since I just got done playing it all night for about 6 hours. It's very fun once you get the hang of it.
PS3 is far from having a similar architecture to PC. That would be the 360. With that said though, I'm liking Valve less and less nowadays with each comment they make. They created two of my favorite games ever (HL1&2), but their rampant bias against the PS3 is getting a bit ridiculous now. I support all consoles and the PC, but I can't see myself supporting Valve much longer. And yeah the Source engine is looking very dated at this point too...
Where is Golden Sun 3?
I would have voted for Shadowmere from Oblivion. Shadowmere actually takes down enemies for you, unlike Epona or Agro.
Broadcasts will be going digital in 2009, but they are not required to be in HD. You won't need an HDTV, just a tv that can accept digital signals with either an internal tuner or a tuner that you can buy in stores.
I've been wondering what's taking SCEA so long as well. It's not like they have to deal with any manufacturing or anything. All they have to do is a simple upload to the network. Nintendo is doing a much better job with the Virtual Console and they're relatively new to doing things online.
You could just use Xlink Kai to play the game online. I'm sure that's what the majority of the owners will be doing anyway. Similar to Monster Hunter.
I get 32 HD channels for free with my cable service. All of the channels look great except TBS. TBS just stretches their 4:3 content into a 16:9 aspect ratio.
