Yeah I was really looking forward to True Fantasy Live Online.
While I also loved that commercial, I kind of hated seeing it since I knew that I wouldn't be able to find a PS2 or get my mom to buy me one at the price of $300 (would have never imagined I'd spend double that on a PS3). I got lucky when her tax refund came back though and I picked up Tekken along with Kessen.
If more people took a look inside their PC and saw how simple the layout is, maybe they could stop getting ripped off by services such as the Geek Squad. Then again, I'm glad they don't because doing PC repairs on the side has proven to be a great way to pay for my games/gas.
I need to reinstall this game. I bought the PC version at launch, but back then it didn't run too well on the lame PC I had.
A Shin Megami Tensei game was announced for PS3 back in 2005. Maybe we'll hear about it soon.
What did you expect him to pull off a complete Sonic game that includes blast processing? I'll be picking up most of the games you listed (except Motorstorm), so it's not an attempt to try to find something fun to play this holiday season. I just want to know how that level doesn't remind you of Sonic at all.
You sure you've played the same Sonic I played? The colors, the fish, the flowers in the background, the crab shaped enemies, the loop, the tunnel, and the terrain design are on point. How couldn't you think of Sonic when seeing that? The only one out of the five that I played was the Moon level and I thought it was great.
Yeah, but FFXIII coming to the 360 at all, used to be silly and look what happened. I wouldn't put anything past S-E nowadays. They could drop PS3 support completely and it wouldn't be a shock.
Been waiting for the NBA 2K9 demo after playing the NBA Live 09 demo. Surprisingly, Live was pretty decent for the first time since like 1997.
Seems like that article was written 2 or 3 years ago and the author just got around to posting it.
Wonder if they fixed the glitch where you can fall inside those crates and shoot people.
Yep, the main page of that site says that all codes have been sent. Looks like I failed yet again...

I haven't received that message. It appears that the email went through as of this moment.
Grats man. I hope I get one tonight.
Just my luck. I'm at work and all I can get is a blank screen on that site. The wait til October continues.
Looks amazing. I tried like hell to get one of those beta keys and was late to work because of it, but I just couldn't get through to the site until they were all gone.
That's why I mentioned, "things would be even better if they would concentrate on one console." GTA IV still didn't use the entire 8.5GB DVD, but it does come close. Though it doesn't have HD assets, look at all that San Andreas had, and that game was only 2GB. I think time was the reason GTA IV didn't have as many features, not storage space.
Not to mention that PS2 had a larger userbase than all of the current gen consoles combined. I think R* was simply trying to get the game's engine up and running and then create a good title. Now that that's been accomplished, each further installment in the series this generation can add more and more features until you get something beyond what San Andreas did. Things would be even better if they would concentrate on one console.
P4= RPG of the Year 2008. Now I have to consider whether to buy it online or in the store. Online, I'm guaranteed the art book, but I'd have to pay more to get it on day one. Going into an actual Gamestop would be cheaper, but I can never be sure if they'll have the preorder extras.
Before PS3 was released, the kiosk models were overheating at game conventions and inside retail stores because the kiosks didn't have enough ventilation space.
