Have you never played an action game before? That's the whole point to them.. beat the crap out of enemies on various difficulties with great gameplay.
Both games were great. Nier is probably one of the best jprgs to cone out this gen and Witcher 3 is one of the best wrpgs to come out this gen.
I'm sorry the GoW series aren't the best hack & slash games especially not when DMC 3, 4, Bayonetta 1, 2 and Ninja Gaiden Black exists.
As for GoW its the best in the series.

Metal Gear Solid 4 and MGS5. Only they're weakest of the franchise for me.
The combat is one the games highlights. It may bot has the depth if Platinum's other titles such as Bayonetta 1 and 2, but name an action rpg that plays as fast and fluid as Nier Automata?
Have you played another title developed by Platinum? If you didn't that's mist likely why you get the appeal. Also a lit of the fans loved the concept behind Nier's world (myself included)

It'll most likely see a overseas release. Sega seems to be pleased with the franchises overseas sales.
Pay him no mind he's just talking out his ass. The game still looks great even after ten years after its initial release.

Well, that's bullshit. From Software games aren't that impressive graphically it's the atmosphere and artwork that makes Bloodborne and the Soul games pop. Is Koei/ Omega Force's Musou games you got? lol
You do realise this is a remaster of a ten year old game right? The last few Tales titles looked good aside from the fact the engine is starting to show its age now.
