Why would a survivor horror be as long as a rog title? That was the issue with Alien Isolation it was too long for that type a game. A horror game doesn't need to be 20 hrs plus in length.
There is still a huge market for physical games and it'll be that way for a while. The world isn't ready for a digital distribution only future yet.
I myself prefer digital for the most part unless a title has a decent special/ collectors edition.

I feel the same way. It's not that I don't enjoy gaming anymore it's just that I don't have as much time as I use to. I just end up building a epic backlog of games. haha
As much as I enjoyed RDR2 I thought it was abit too long during the main six chapters. I almost didn't finish the epilogue because of the that. Not got gonna the epilogue were kind of boring as well.
Considering they destroyed every major internal team they had for the most part what can they do?

Exactly what I was thinking. Witcher 3 is probably the first game I played where I was actually eager to do most of the side quest.
I agree with for the most part, but Castlevainia should go to ArtPlay. Koji Igarashi made the franchise what it is today and should continue to do so. Suikoden should go to a JRPG developer that would do it justice.
God of War had a lot of side quest
Not if the side quest are done right.
Not really missing Konami. They should sell their I.Ps
Sweet! I held off on the PS4 version. I kind of prefer jprgs on the Switch.
Release date please!
Don't bother me one bit. I preordered Kingdom Hearts 3 back in 2015 when Amazon dropped the price to $41.99.
Who?
Why coudn't the Switch run a game like Dragon lair?
"fundamental aspect" only due to technological restraints at the time. It's time to hop off that nostalgia train.
What's your point? That didn't stop RE7 from hitting nearly 5 million. What would be the point of it being a 1:1 remake. It improves on the orginal in every way possible. RE2 could easily surpass the original.
Speak for yourself dude. I've been a fan since RE1 and I don't want it to return to the fixed camera and tank controls. RE2 seems to be the step in the right direction for the series (unlike 4-6)
Why? It was one of the best survival horrors to come out.
Full fledged exclusive, It's being published by Sony, and being developed on a proprietary engine from one of Sony's 1st party developers.
