The way the world loads isn't unique to Cyberpunk, it's just such a built up area that it makes it a lot more demanding. Have you got a nice quick SSD? That's often a problem with modern open world games, hence why last gen consoles suffer so much on it.
Big difference on the PS5 version compared to the backwards compatible PS4 version. So many more people about and the lighting is so much better. I think other things like textures and effects have had a big upgrade as we...
The game is far from soul-less or lifeless in my opinion, just sounds like it might not be for you.
2 hours? Need to give it a chance. Witcher 3 is probably my favourite game of all time along with The Last of Us 2, and I wasn't really properly into it until 15 hours+. The prologue takes about 6 hours in Cyberpunk, you literally have no idea what's going on if you've only played 2 hours. But if it's not for you then it's not for you. I do encourage you to give it more of a chance though.
I'm on PS5, currently 25 hours through my current game since version 1....
I know how you feel. I'm just enjoying Cyberpunk and Returnal at the moment, and happy with the amazing games like Elden Ring, Forbidden West, GT7, and Dying Light 2 that will still be there when I'm ready for them sometime in 2023.
@assassin2k there's good reason for it though.
Do you not have the internet?
Loved Pocky and Rocky on the SNES!
@Welshy The map is huge and there's a ridiculous amount of assets in the game. Should be higher res textures as well which will take up a lot of room.
@Welshy I get that mate, only so many games you can play at once so it's a bit of a pointless question. Will only take 20 minutes to install/download if you've got a decent Internet connection.
Really enjoyed the single player on PS4, may be tempted to replay if it's only £10 for the single player as rumoured.
I'd suggest you do this if you want to play it.
Cyberpunk has a lack of content? lol
One of the best things about PS5 is how quick the updates are. This will be sub 10 minutes. PS4 didn't seem to use your full internet connection.
The dull exposition described is something that a lot of people might revel in.
It's just the downside of PC gaming. It will be running perfectly well on other PCs with similar specs. PCs are complicated things, there could be something on their system throttling their performance that they're not aware of. They'll improve it in time, but impossible for them to optimize it perfectly for every PC. Don't get me wrong, I'd be p****d if I spent an outrageous amount on a PC and couldn't play on ultra settings.
@Taero exactly. There's also busier parts and quieter parts, just like any city in the world. And also the traffic seems to vary depending on the time of day, so it seems a lot quieter at 3am in the morning. Always people having weird conversations as well, and I don't really hear the same thing repeated over and over. Also gang shootings etc. everywhere that you can interrupt for some xp and loot. It's a great open world in my opinion.
I don't think Cyberpunk 2077 ge...
@Teflon02 The thing is, me and probably most Fromsoftware fans have enjoyed the journey immensely from being completely clueless to becoming accustomed to the complexities of the game, yet still finding new things to discover. This also makes the games replayable, as you start on NG+ with a different outlook on the game.
Absolutely immersed in it at the moment. Love it. Looks amazing on PS5.
He's probably saying this because people are still saying it's terrible, when it's actually amazing.
In terms of how the cars drive compared to their real life counterparts I think they are.
