They haven't cancelled the expansion. If you go to some of the roads on the outside of the map it says "There's nothing here for you.............yet" Or something along those lines. They probably had already done a lot of the work prior to the main game's release such as voice acting etc. so there's no reason to cancel it.
Just played it through again on PS5 and absolutely loved it. Think it's an amazing game in it's current state.
Yeah that makes sense. Either that or they're doing a full remaster and don't want to take anything away from that.
Why do they need the VRR update to unlock the framerate for Bloodborne?
Oh wow, didn't realise the Evil Within had an FPS mode! That's blown my mind. Loved the game in 3rd person so tempted to try it.
One of the games that I think it would be amazing for. Would be a lot of work to do though.
The article is so obviously biased it's unbelievable.
His comment is about backwards compatibility seems ridiculous. Surely with the PS Plus tiers you can play any game you want, whereas with the Xbox you need to actually purchase the disk each time you want to play an old game, and that's if you manage to find it. Not sure if Xbox gamepass has these digitally as well? For me I think it would be cool just to jump into some old games for the nostalgia, I probably wou...
It's the same with free upgrades for games. People thought it was reasonable to pay until a few started doing it for free (mostly because they could integrate it into their development upfront). Most of the upgrades/remasters you have to pay for wouldn't happen at all if they didn't charge for them, so then nobody wins.
They're games would probably suffer, just look at how poor Xbox exclusives are compared to Sony's. I'd much rather just pay to play the best games. Don't have time to take advantage of the premium subscriptions anyhow.
Breath of the Wild just seemed empty to me and lacked character. Still good, but I prefer an open world game with lots of great stories and lore to discover.
@VENOMUK I completely agree. N4G seems to be full of people expecting everything for free. They're not going to keep on releasing content if they don't get income from it. Lots of people must enjoy GTA online and this gives them what looks like a better value way of enhancing their experience.
It looks like it's offering better value than the Shark card things. I never buy microtransactions, but there's probably loads of people who will find this useful. They seem to be adding content to GTA online all the time, so they have to pay for it somehow.
CoD does the battlepass, which is effectively the same thing.
I think there's probably a lot of people who played it on PS4 like me, who have maybe significantly upgraded their TV/monitor in the meantime also, so the upgrades make even more of an impact. £8.75 for a great story campaign that I want to replay (and no longer have my PS4 physical version of) is a no brainer for me.
@pietro1212 there's a massive difference between some anonymous people claiming something is fake and it actually being fake. I mean it doesn't look like CG to me, and it looks/plays better than it looks like in that video now anyhow. Have you actually played the game yourself.
There is law enforcement and has always been, which they've improved massively. Certainly not on GTA V pursuit levels, but the game isn't GTA so it doesn't really matter.

House Beneviento would make my heart stop in VR.
Thanks for the answer that proves to me you have no idea what you're talking about.
Is this one of those things that's been found a thousand times, but just been found by a streamer or someone who posts on Reddit?
Soon. Can't wait.
Just out of interest, what more did you want? Genuinely interested in your ideas.
