Good to know, then i expect every switch game also to release on wii u if this is a ps4/ps4 pro situation. Would eliminate the need to buy a switch one day. But it seems like it not the case here, huh?
But in fact i would love to see a switch pro version as a dedicated home console without a screen and a tad more horsepower under the hood.
What about x360 vs ps3 then? Ps3 released when 360 already sold 8million(?) consoles, but it kept outselling 360 because of the brand appeal and its lineup it has to offer and eventually caught up by the end of the gen. Ms just doesn't have the games to compete with sony period!

For me part 3 is the best. There are so many memorable things in there imo, truly awesome. The fight with hercules, ripping helios' head off, beating the leaving shit out of poseidon, from his point of view!!! The scene where you wander through the dark. and many many more.

Yeah you are right. If there will only be a selection of ps4 games i would be okay with it. console exclusives have been around for a while now and considering the flood of ps4 games the loss for the console wouldn't be too big. But when sony's heavy hitters like god of war, gran tourismo, ratchet and clank, kilzone, last of us 2 are on pc it would be a different story.
These points should be adressed in a sequel. But anyway it's already a achievement for a new ip to be so well crafted and earn critical acclaim including a meta of 89. but there is always room for improvement.
Yeah NOW you can't play them on pc and that is perfect how it is. But WHEN they are made available on pc via ps now then yes , you don't need a ps4 anymore to play them if shitty streaming doesn't bother you. And i fear it is only the first step to make full blown releases of ps4 games on pc. because imho there won't be huge success with ps now. And that's the point why so i'm upset.
The only game i play on pc from time to time is gta 5. that is the only game i bought for pc in like 10+ years. So until now i didn't really feel an urge for making pc my primary platform and streaming ps4 games through psnow ofcourse won't change that. But i strongly believe making the games downloadable/ cacheable will be a possible next step as i don't see that there will be a huge request for streaming and/ or renting these games. I already have ps4 pro and i am going to keep...
I'm a playstation fan and i still believe exclusives matter. And i truly hope sony does an 180 on that decision when the backlash of their fan who want to keep the purpose of the console intact.
And@LP no then they are not true exclusives anymore, maybe console exclusives but not really exclusives, no matter how shitty game streaming will probably be on pc, they are still available on another platform than ps4.

+ like some mentioned on here playing games on console is superior than streaming to pc. But if sony already went the route of offering ps4 games on pc via streaming, it is only a small step from making them downloadable when the complaints about lags etc come in and therefore there isn't enough revenue.
Wow that's just stupid. Can't say anything else. Guess i have to go nintendo + pc only next gen then. I always said it when it was about ms and still think the same when it comes to sony. Having no exclusives defeats the point of consoles imho. If this carries on to next gen there will be no need for ps5 for me.
Yesss! Exactly how i felt about it. And from a gameplay point of view i have to say that i didn't like the direction ME went after the first one.
Maybe because there are two more platforms than x1 which in addition seem to release official sales numbers. I think that's why.
