We already had a similar situation in past. The og xbox was way more powerful than ps2 and what did it matter? Xbox only sold 25 million units. But the difference was that og xbox, unlike scorpio, had a good lineup of games that couldn't be played on other devices. With scorpio most of the games probably can be played on x1 or pc which gives no reason to buy it if you are not a hardcore xbox fan with a need for more power. So i believe scorpio will sell even less units than xbox1.

Sure, uncharted 2-4 had no mp, driveclub had no mp, little big planet 1-3 had no mp, gow ascension had no mp and the last of us had no mp modnation racers had no mp. Warhawk had no mp, mag had no mp /s
But no first party series apart from killzone had mp, right?
In fact some have, more don't. Unlike ms it just seems like sony doesn't have the need to force mp in every game they are releasing and that's perfectly fin...
I'll go with super sampling because frankly i am more bothered about jaggies than performance dips.
Yes ps3 and its exclusives were amazing. That gen brought us gamers the last of us, uncharted, resistance infamous, little big planet (+karting), heavy rain, motorstorm, gravity rush, demon souls and puppeteer as completely new ip (maybe more), while we also got a few ratchet and clanks, killzone 2+3, god of war 3, gran tourismo 5+6, metal gear 4 and more. So i'm perfectly fine with what ps3 had to offer and it's great that even playstations "worst" console's lineup was ...
It's a shortage of games that make the console stand out in comparison to other devices. Third party games you can play on other devices, so is up to games you can only play on this specific machine. And that's were x1 is severly lacking why it failed to attract enough gamers other than the hardcore fanbase.And if you don't see this you i guess you are in full denial mode.
It's so bad that even some of the former xbox elitist on here have switched to the competition. ...
For playing last gen games? Or are you happy with playing the same games over and over?
Lol maybe in bizarro world, where sony is the one with the fewer and much inferior studios and microsoft actually cares about releasing quality games. Because in our world it is exactly the opposite🙊

Oh how i wish someone would confront him with this stuff during an interview to see how he responds to this. It would be priceless
Yes agreed to 100%
@DivoJones
Well at least sony admitted when they had a sparse year in regards to exclusives.
Spencer is still talking about a great year 2016 and even a "epic" 2017, like
wtf? It seems that he is just a pr face put in place so xbox gamers can relate to, nothing more. If that's not the case he is simply doing a terrible job, maybe eben worse than mattrick.

No problem i've played the first two, wouldn't force myself to chore through #3.
@nitus
crackdown 1+2 were both on xbox360. They are open worldgames where you have to complete specific missions to progress the "story". They both were lackluster, fun for a very short time and then boring af.
If you have nothing else to look forward to , you even hype up the most average games ever. Crackdown is the biggest game microsoft has in near(?) future while sony would release this title as digital only.
They could simply buy a ps4. There are more games than on any other console, anyway. And it costs <200 euro to get one. So if someone is missing out simply because he doesn't like playstation, i don't feel sorry for him at all.
And more sales could not be a result of ps4's bigger install base of 60 million units compared to wiiu's 15 milions and switch's possibly 3 millions? Not saying horizon will be better or even a zelda killer. Just a question because your comments logic is flawed.

Before release they care for these games to take them as ammo for listwars but on release they don't buy it. Would hsve been the same with scalebound.

Than you're simply a brand loyalist if you say you take crapdown over everything sony has announced, given the two predecessors were average at best.
Agreed! It really didn't get the attention it deserved.
