Agreed. Wr gamers should never hold on to blind brand loyalty. Go after the platforms are most dedicated to games. This way we can force MS (and maybe some time in future sony and nintendo) to do better and focus on games rather than other useless stuff. Voting with our wallets that is.

It already IS the best 8th gen lineup of any console. Xbox is not even in the race and switch will get maybe 1 or 2 major games until the end of 2017, because it'still a new console and therefore it takes some time.

Exactly this! When sony, who have been capable of delivering 4 successful consoles in a row and awesome support with software over the past two decades, failed to get a foothold in the handheld market after 2 attempts, microsoft who barely aren't able to deliver neither a successful home console nor an attractive library will miserably fail.

You know the thing is all ps3's epic games are all out already and alot of ps4's have yet to release. But based on the announced games alone ps4 will be as awesome if not even better in retrospective.
Nah, don't let ms profit from sony huge userbase. I read often enough that some people chose a specific console based on where their friends are. Instead sony should keep on working on drying up ms console division wherever they can.
For a long time I'm burned out on fighting againts arab npc's in dessert settings, and using jet packs, drones, thermal views etc but never got bored of WW2, wheather it be realistic or alternate history

Agreed! i have yet to buy zelda and persona and beat yakuza zero which i'm only in for a couple of hours but really enjoy. Horizon was also outstanding. But so far nioh takes the top spot. Like you wrote, it's a masterpiece!!

they give us something worthwile in return, they develope or let develope diverse games of quality. Unlike it's direct competitor which is only making the least possible effort to get their fans hard earned money.

The last thing i read was that they planned on selling 200.000.000 which i already thought it was crazy and impossible for an xbox console. But 1 billion? 360 barely reached under 80 million with the huge rrod boost. And it was a console worth owning i'd say.
We sure know that sales are "strong" and 2016's lineup was "epic". ^^

Kratos is the playstation brand packed in a video character. Mighty, aggressive, unstoppable and destroys everyone who dares challenging him, even if this means he have to take down the huge and seemingly all powerful beings (or richest companies in playstations case).^^

Well instead of doing something "cool" it is more like ms going the cheap route again. Bringing on the remake would have been cool. But they rather take an old game, remaster it, on top shoving in microtransactions while they are at and hope their fans will swallow it becaus, you know, they finally have released another game. Yes that is cool.
