Alright the trailer looked awesome and i'm a sucker for WW2 shooters anyways. But if the gameplay is like in every other cod and isn't fundamentally overhauled (add weight to the guns, a bit slower pace.....) i'll unfortunately have to pass.
Yes they'll have their short time of feeling like the tides are turning, especially shortly after release when a part of the x1 owners move over to scorpio. At this time sales numbers will be good i guess and you'll read articles of spencer and the gang throwing around with sales numbers as if there were no tomorrow. But i would bet only a few months after that, ms will have to stop sharing numbers and let us know that scorpio sales are "strong" or even "epic" ^^ ...

Ofcourse it won't! Imo Scorpio is just a service for fans for who aren't bothered by what the xbox brand has become, but want better graphics/framerate than x1(s) provides and/ or for the special kind fans who just want to have an xbox console with finally one advantage over the competitions console to feel better and have something to brag about because the last few years must have been hard.

If the worthwile games in satisfying numbers would finally start coming in i would opt for an xbox 1s as i didn't want to spend too much for a secondary or third console. Imo Scorpio aims more at people who are already are xbox fans and feel like x1(s) is to weak.
I really have to congratulate ms for revealing scorpio specs/ tech right in time when xb-owners started acknowledge/ appreciating ps4's lineup. Even the xbox hardliners did this and admitted that ms really has to put in work for more and better games. That was what i was wondering. Ps4 pro is 2 - 3 times more powerful than x1/ ps4 yet so many calling it a failure or not worth buying because the difference is not enough. Imo Xbox one ultra would be the best fitting. Given that ms pr loves buzzwords like "epic" and "strong" it would perfectly fit in that lane. In addition xbox one ultra would also relate to ultra high definition and ultra high settings for games.

scorpio is more powerful than ps4 pro. But ms hasn't got the devs capable enough to make games look better than games of sony's visual wizardry studios like naughty dog, guerilla games, santa monica and suckerpunch. But it's great that ms devs will be able to take use of more raw power to compensate the lack of skill/ talent and make game look closer to ps4 exclusive in terms of graphics.
