That's why i wrote "ms has ALMOST more than dangling carrots...." esram, dx12, the cloud + crackdown 3, xbox 1s' uhd drive, ofcourse the past e3's which kept hopes high but disappointed and now it's scorpio being hype as a gamechanger by ms and fans and will most probably disappoint again. But all these things helped to keep hardcore xbox fans stay loyal because of hope in a better future for the underperforming and -delivering brand. Lates...

ms has almost done nothing more this gen than dangling carrots of false promises in front of xbox users faces. When they find out that the carrots aren't real MS already has a new carrot steady.

Haha this new phenomenon is very amusing. They really must hate playstation, not just like disliking a company but in an unhealthy "sony killed my dog" kind of way. It's hilarious and sad at the same time.

When bf1 was revealed and we all could see that there are black soldiers in the game a minority was bothered even though harlem hellfighters and soldiers from french and british colonies fought in ww1. And i don't think now there is more outrage because of the female soldiers than there was because of the blacks.
Even if i'd like to have it like yesterday, i want rockstar to take their sweet time to pull of a masterpiece at least as amazing as RDR1. As some stated above, r* is known for incredibly polished products and delays and i don't want them to sacrifice quality just for the sake of hitting a deadline like the majority of third party devs/ publishers do.

Yes just the bloodborne 2 announcement would be almost as amazing as gow releasing this year.would be sad it if both happens, because then i would probably die of a heart attack while watching sony's press conference and get to play neither of them. :(

Could this have been a set up by sony? Not mentioning their own MAU to make ms feel confident about theirs and wait until spencer brag about xbox/windows MAU. If sony would have released their numbers earlier, we once again wouldn't have got any numbers from ms. Or is it a coincident that sony released these right after ms did the same?

But it's a difference if a studio has a sense of freedom to be creative or be strangleheld like say the few ms' studios with almost no creative freedom outside of their respective ip.

You never know. But if ms would manage to beat sony in the console business, i'm 100% sure it would not be because of ms actions but of a major fu€kup from sony. Not sure what this could be though. Maybe a console with even more severe technical problems than the infamous rrod? Or not release a new console for a whole gen for some reason, allowing the niche console xbox to get a foothold?

Yeah imagine all you have to play are games from third party devs. Would be a total nightmare imho. Games tailored to one platform ftw! But also praise the few third parties who still manage to deliver quality, like rockstar for example.
