Never played Unity but I consider 3 to be one of the worst games I've ever played. Being that boring is far more offensive than being bad or buggy. At least a buggy game might make you smile now and again.
Now I can be bored to tears on the go.
It's Tim Rogers and it's not what you think it is. I wish he wasn't with Kotaku but his stuff is generally excellent.
Imagine hiring this lad to work for your video game site. Not only is Resi 4 objectively a belter from beginning to end, it's part of a series which includes Resident Evil 6. Please don't tell me you actually believe that 6 is a better game than 4?
Bought it 6 times. I have no regrets. Will be buying it again on Switch.
Can you put split screen back in the first and second encounters, please? It's weird that they removed it from the first two but still kept it in SS3.
Uncharted 4. I thought we were supposed to hate walking simulators?
Was just thinking about playing through Blood Money again. Guess I can wait a week.
Holy moly, they gave game of the year to one of the very best games of the year, fancy that.
Kinda sickening to see this immediately after finding out Fallout 76 apparently sold over 1 million.
No, I'm sorry, but the PSVR creates an absolute mess of cables. You have the Playstation camera and the power brick and that usb cable to worry about too, as well as the two HDMI cables and the Headset cables. It's not elegant, but I still think it's cool that they found a way to do it at all. PS4 likely wasn't designed with VR in mind, the PS5 will be much closer to plug and play.
Don't think I've read a single bad word about Astro Bot. Game looks absolutely brilliant.
"OH MY GOD, Shadow of the Colossus is such a chore to play, you spend so much time riding your horse doing NOTHING. This is not a perfect ten (because ten means literally perfect, don't forget). Why can't I fast travel to the Colossus?"
I didn't expect RDR2 to be an action romp and maybe that's why I'm enjoying it. It's the cowboy simulator I've always wanted and I find myself getting lost for hours on end while playing it. Controls gen...
"I'm also sure some reviews have not played this game enough for scores given"
But you've definitely played it enough to claim it's over-hyped and a 7. This 60 hour game that came out on Friday. And here we go again with the "perfect scores" thing as though a ten means literally flawless. Not saying the game is good or bad but can we at least give it a few days before sharing our half-baked opinions?
A new difficulty mode you say? May have to squeeze in a second playthrough before the DLC hits.
That's awesome! If this keeps up, they might even bring over Kenzan and Ishin along with the 3-5 remasters.
I feel like the title really isn't helping this game. I heard "Astro Bot: Rescue Mission" and I immediately thought it was another short, gimmicky tech demo for the PSVR. But then I saw a review and it looks absolutely wonderful. I don't have the money for a PSVR right now but if I can get one cheap in the future, this is the first game I'm picking up.
I saw Klei mention something about this on their Twitter. There is definitely some kind of deal for those who already bought the game on 360. May want to check that post before you buy it again.
I'm on it.
Not sure how it creates tension when managing the inventory actually pauses gameplay. I feel like real-time inventory management would have been a nice addition to the Hardcore difficulty and I can't see any reason why it was left out, there are plenty of rooms zombies and Mr X won't enter and bosses are generally slow and stagger easily.
