Best looking car game ever made. Even when compared to PC games.
I bet the amazing new feature is fish AI that move out of the way when you get close to them.
That's what all the fuss was about? I think the PS4 looks better in most of the screenshots.
"Agent Test Reel" is probably an easter egg found somewhere in GTA V's world (maybe on a film canister somewhere in the movie set area). Rockstar are known for putting little surprises in their games.
I can add more contrast without this mod.
Look almost exactly like the PS4 version. I'm not surprised.
It doesn't "chug" on my PS4. It runs great. I don't need to brag about my rig to feel good about myself. I guarantee I'm playing the same game on my PS4 that you'll be playing on your all mighty PC.
Again, you came into an article about the lighting in MGSV and you're talking about frame rate. Who the hell mentioned frame rate?
All I'm saying is... there are a LOT of better looking games than this. Also, the vegetation is kinda sparse in MGSV too, but I'd let that slide for better lighting.
Also, snake's face looks plastic.
I already have the PC version... It's running on my PS4.
I sure hope so. Those were some of my favorite games last gen.
Incredible artist
Evolution Studios recorded the actual cars in the game. I don't see how Driveclub could possible not sound realistic.
I wasn't talking about gameplay, AI or frame rate now was I?
We're talking about GRAPHICS and specifically LIGHTING here.
Don't come into a graphics article and try to stand up for the game by saying it has advanced AI this and deep gameplay mechanics to try and justify why it doesn't look very good.
Everyone will start to realize how bad this game looks in just a couple of years when other games will blow it out of the water....
I'm a sucker for super realistic lighting though and physically based rendering (making every reflect light differently), so when I look at the Witcher 3, it looks flat and mildly cartoonish.
Don't get me wrong though... if this game had come out before all of these other more impressive looking next gen games, my head would've exploded, but it looks pale in comparison to other games we have at the moment. It just has that "last-gen that was remade into next-...
It looks really flat.
It still doesn't look next-gen enough to me. I'm sure it's a great game, but speaking about graphics, it looks like a 1080p last gen game with higher res textures.
The lighting reminds me of Uncharted 3.
Do people honestly expect a game to not change when it's shown during early development?
I don't get what the big fuss is. One looks like a last gen game, and the other looks like a last gen game during a different time of day.
The graphics do not impress me in this game. It looks like a 1080p version of a last gen game.
I never understood comments like this: "But I really wish they made the consoles more expensive with hardware that can run all games at 1080p 60fps as a standard."
If they made the consoles more powerful, we'd still be in the same exact situation because they could still use up all the extra power and we'd still have 30fps games.
How come people don't understand this? It doesn't matter how fast the machine is, they'd (the devs) ...
