for what you want (holiday 2013 PS4 launch).

Time's ticking

If we don't get it next month, then we're on for holiday 2014.

So it sounds like you're giving up on 2013....basically.

You should have given up on such crazy idea's months ago, but better late then never, I guess.

Personally, I'm not even sure 2014 is assured, but I guess we'll save that for this time next year. lol

I don't mind female gamers myself.

Also,
If games or the industry made man jokes, I wouldn't have a fit.

In my eyes, no other game comes close to the attention to detail that GTA4 has. From the ads, the radio, the TV shows, the people on the streets. The characters and story are also very well-done. There is no game that captures what GTA4 does. It's as if the game is ALIVE & it still amazes me.

Also, I Still play GTA RACING Online, I just can't get enough of it. Picture Genesis ROAD RASH with cars (bikes too sometimes).

I've heard lots of people c...

"With their purchase of Japanese cloud service Gaikai, Sony dropped themselves right into the competitive streaming market, taking on Steam and OnLive at the same time."

Gaikai is not a Japanese based service. Gaikai is from California......So Cal, if I'm not mistaken.

Not a big deal, just wanted to let you know.

Crytek simply wants the next gen to start now so that they can sell their new engine and have it more competitive to Unreal.

If Crytek really wanted to do themselves a solid, they would get better at optimizing for the consoles that are already in front of them.

Personally, regarding this particular matter, I'm not really interested in anything they have to say.

The point is, is with physical copies, you still have some power left.
You can still buy, sell, trade the copy at your own free will and leisure.

With digital, you pretty much forgo all of your power, such as with this....."DO WHAT WE SAY, OR WE'LL TAKE AWAY ALL OF YOUR SH17".

I'll keep my physicals, thanks.

It's been a long time, but I think I beat the game without losing a life too.

Answer me this, Mr Zha1tan....

Considering that the AAA budget industry treats PC gamers like second class citizens, bringing games late, if not at all, and for the same price as said console versions.....

Seeing how the AAA budget industry treats PC gamers like second class in their actions....

How exactly can one claim to be the master, and be second class at the same time?

The sentiment Sounds like an oxymoron to me.

By Eat Sleep Play....by Sony, and possibly by Jaffe himself.

Launching half made single player, and broken online games is never acceptable.
Launching this for a legacy franchise like Twisted Metal makes it doubly worse.

Of course I'm sure there are people that will disagree with me. I mean, why wouldn't they when they enjoy broken online games with half made single player modes.

You see, Contrary to the sentiment of some people, RETAIL is a part of the video gaming industry. Buying used does help retail.

Now I'm personally not an advocate of buying every single game used, as I buy the majority of them new, but when you buy used, you aren't automatically going against the industry.

What probably needs to happen, is retail may need to figure out how to give a little of the used proceeds to the publishers, then they'll be a...

Killzone 3 is also a technical marvel for FPS on consoles.

You couldn't get $782 for them bro.

For example,
Why would I pay you $19.99 for plain vanilla BORDERLANDS and $19.99 for DEAD SPACE 1?

But Crysis 1 and 2 are on consoles.

Witcher 2 and Metro are also on consoles.

Hard Reset isn't on consoles, but all of those games are CURRENT GEN software tech, Taquito.

Outside of tech demo's, Next gen software tech doesn't exist yet.

at Next months Gamescom, or TGS 2012 in Sept, then it's over for a holiday 2013 launch.

Basically, it's looking more and more bleak with each passing day.

Someone below mentioned something about history....so allow me to demonstrate good history:

XBOX 360 (2005), PS3 (2006), Wii (2006), all launched during the holiday season, and the Wii U launching holiday 2012.

But it doesn't just stop there: DREAMCAST launched Holiday 1998 and holiday 1999.
GAMECUBE and XBOX 1 also launched in Holiday (2001)

Only the PS2 launched (in Japan) in a strange March 2000 timeframe....but then turned ...
