Nintendo seems the least prepared.....like they are just making stuff up as it goes along.
Limited internet services and features.....limited hardware capabilities.....and I don't believe the same soccer moms and grandma's are going to be interested in a Wii U.

Because No retail = No consoles sold.
Now, it is true that one day retail physical copies will largely go away.....but the day that happens, is the day we don't need consoles anymore to play AAA quality retail games.
Suffice to say, that's not going to happen next generation.
You can put a "period" on to that last sentence.
No excuse for an install for this game.

Are PS1 games in the store remastered?
As if what they saw at E3 with THE LAST OF US, BEYOND 2 SOULS and others just wasn't good enough or something.
I even had one guy a couple of days ago refute the fact that WATCH DOGS was professed by the Ubisoft guys to be a PS3 and XBOX 360 game, that somehow they must have been wrong or something.
At anyrate, I've had my PS3 since Jan 2009, and I don't want new consoles before holiday 2014....especially with a PS3....we might even be able to go lon...

This Gaikai acquisition means more than just games you know.
It means Sony will be able to stream anything to pretty much any device.....games, music, movies, TV shows, books.....anything.
This is especially a game changer in terms of "LEGACY SOFTWARE" compatibility.
So what's your issue?
If Gaikai can deliver PS3 Backwards compatibility to the PS4, then this solves their tech problem with how are Sony gonna deliver B/C with no Cell since they were reportedly using AMD as a CPU/GPU package.
The issue wasn't so much the games on disk....but more importantly, was the games everyone purchased in the PSN store.
Of course, with a Gaikai service...they can now do both.

In case you forgot, IBM screwed Sony, and that's why the XBOX 360 has the CPU it has now.....because IBM secretly, behind Sony's back, took the PPU that Sony IBM and Toshiba were working on for the CELL, and sold it to Microsoft.
The CPU in the PS4 is likely to be made by AMD.....certainly the GPU is as well.
But the way the MMO market is going, the heyday is probably gone.
At some point, people are going to start a gradual exodus...and considering the many MMO's on the market having to go free to play, I reckon WoW's beginning slowdown is about to begin.
Also, it wasn't ROCKSTAR that EA was trying to buy, but rather, it was all of TAKE 2. That wasn't a false alarm....it was TAKE 2 that said no and threatened to "poison pill" any hostile take over. ...
Why would you have trouble believing a PS4 would have trouble outperforming that?
Lets put it this way....
PS3 came out in late 2006, and that is a more capable game machine than any computer you would have bought in late 2004.
I know because the computer I'm typing on now was built in late 2004.
Your GPU will hopefully be 5 years older than a PS4, but no less than 4.

I myself boycotted this game, and I'm glad to see that Capcom did poor/mediocre numbers, as well as they were publicly embarrassed and even got a downgrade with the BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU.
I'd be willing to bet that Capcom doesn't do this again.
Same with EA and their Mass Effect 3 debacle (they were planning on selling us "better endings")
