MTV movie awards.
The AIAS is the awards that are most "Academy" like.
In short, it's considered to be the Oscars of the video gaming industry.

But that doesn't absolve the VGA from being a trash award show.
Congrats to ThatGameCompany for their win with Flower too.
;)
But aren't the PS3 and the XBOX 360 Elite the same price there? I'm almost sure that they are.
So why is the author claiming the XBOX 360 Elite is £200, and the PS3 is £250?
It sounds like the author, Steve Boxer has an agenda.
Is there anyone from the U.K. that can confirm the standard MSRP's of the systems where you there? Thanks.
In this game you will not be able to basically sit in 1 spot shooting person after person until you get a sizable kill streak, because any cover that you may have is only temporary. Camping in this game is pretty non existent here.
There's a couple of bugs and imbalances that need to be worked out. For 1, I get some game freezing from time to time, and it seems to happen more often if I use the UAV machine (remote controlled helicopter). Also the collision detection needs to...
Just curious.
Was just curious on his response.
For all intents and purposes, I feel Microsoft charging to play online is a scam and a rip off. Why should you, I, or anyone else pay to play RANDOM games online?
Does Microsoft charge you a fee to use their PC OS system online? No. Does Apple charge you to use their OS? No. Sony doesn't charge, certainly Nintendo doesn't charge. Further insult, Microsoft has virtually the same LIVE service for PC gamers and they don't charge people to use that. Apparently they tried and fai...
Apparently, the technique is not new, wasn't created by Pandemic and continues to be refined....basically.
.
It's freakin awesome, I love it.
Keep in mind that this short list of multiplatform game sales was compiled a couple months ago, but pretty much all of these games are applicable in terms of "the best of the best" for 2009.
--Resident Evil 5, PS3: 2.47m.....XBOX 360: 2.35m
--Street Fighter IV, PS3: 1.40m.....XBOX 360: 1.25m
--BlazBlue: Calamity Trigger, PS3: 0.20m...XBOX 360: 0.14m
--Batman: Arkham Asylum, PS3: 1.07m.....XBOX 360: 0.92m
--NHL 10, PS3 0.11m..... XBOX 360: 0.16m
These VGA awards are akin to watching MTV for their movie awards.
Personally, I don't even watch MTV for their music awards, but that's for another topic.
you said, "The Xenos is clocked at 500Mhz with a unified shader core and 48 unified pipelines and likewise the RSX also clocks at the same speed"
The RSX in the PS3 is clocked at 550Mhz, MaN_uTd.
You definitely got a F...obviously a fail.
Just thought I'd point that out.
I could see someone saying that they don't like FPS games,
But the game as far as story, theme, mood, atmosphere, voice acting, setting, and even the graphics were all well done.
The only quibble I had with the game was that I was dissatisfied with the ending...but the game was really good.
I spent $20 on it a couple months ago.
Since I got my PS3 in January this year, that was a pretty important thing.
The problem is, if you only have 1 bubble to start with, then no one can automatically read your comment....you'll have to click on another link to see what they said.
Also, if you run out of bubbles, then you can't comment on that topic anymore. So the number of times you can comment are dependent on the number of open bubbles you have.
I recently lost a couple of bubbles, but I gained 1 back.
such is life I guess.
*shrug*
That would be "8-Track".
;)
Little Big Planet Won the most recent AIAS GOTY award, and likely come Feb., Uncharted 2 will win GOTY at the AIAS award show as well.
People just can't seem to get over the fact that shooters are not the only genre that exists.
since you only have 4 bubbles, have 1 more just to get you going on the right track.
