The reason is, is because this is a JAPANESE based game. So why wouldn't this be made on the PS3 first? This appears to be more of the same "lazy developer" stuff. Why not get on the phone, send some Emails, go over to Sony Studios if necessary, and get some help? Obviously they needed help, seeing that they only have ever made Nintendo games.
What is it that keeps these developers from getting the help and/or tools they need to learn? Again, there's no excuse for ...
Mistress Easter eggs.
lol
A month until the ceremony and I haven't heard anything.
1 million units is not horrible , and I strongly believe it will make that within a year, give or take 3 months.
Camping in Battlefield Bad Company 2 is nearly impossible. Why? Mainly because any good camping cover you may have, it's only temporary, plus the kill cam keep everyone on the move.
I don't wanna say BFBC2 is camp-proof...but it certainly looks to be quite "camp resistant".
Hi, divideby0,
I was just curious, did you play the PS3 beta of BF:BC 2 or the PC version?
Also, what do you think of Modern Warfare 1 and 2?
Just wondering on your thoughts, thanks.
Said game in franchise has to sell approx. 10 million?
You might be on the right track, you might not...I just want your take and confirmation.
It's also going to cause some American holdouts to buy a PS3.
In reference to the show, The Marketing will come when it's needed, so why would marketing need to come in the Middle of January?
XBOX franchise gets Metal Gear Solid franchise back in exchange for
Playstation franchise getting Spinter Cell franchise back
They insult Valve because Gabe and Co. have needlessly flung insults at the PS3 and/or its online community.
Valve gets extra incentives from Microsoft and they should shut up and just make their mods.
--"The PS3 is a total disaster on so many levels, I think It's really clear that Sony lost track of what customers and what developers wanted," --Gabe Newell
--"I'd say, even at this late date, they should just cancel it and do a do over. Just say, 'This was a horrible disaster and we're sorry and we're going to stop selling this and stop trying to convince people to develop for it'." --Gabe Newell

Obviously, the game gets released on PC and pretty much most of the development attention gets places with the PC,
So why would it bother you that it would go to consoles? Most of the Source engine assets could probably run on the Wii.
Just curious on your explanation or take.
thanks.
Valve themselves even gave up on that ridiculous excuse, in favor of the more recent "XBOX Live community is better", excuse. Jeez, get with the times people. lol
Valve has plenty of employees and plenty of resources and know how, including the option "out" the work to other developers like they have done with every Half Life game on PS3 and PS2, which is how Gearbox got their start. Gearbox by the way is smaller than Valve and develops for all HD platforms...
eventually someone will figure it out.
I honestly don't even care about trophies.
The way things are,
MS makes a ton of money from XBOX LIVE.
15.4 million console Modern Warfare 2 units total,
6.36 PS3 units = approx. 41%
9.05 360 units = approx. 59%
Again,
not that sales matter.
*wink*
Anyways, After playing both, I had my own perceptions, but I wanted to get his, so I kept quiet while he played first Dante's Inferno, and then Bayonetta next.
After he was done, I asked him which game he liked better...
Duh...almost naked chick chick, right for an 11-12 year old? lol
But I asked him why he liked Bayonetta better, and he said that the action was more "actiony"....more "exciting" (lol)...I knew what he meant. I felt the same ...
my bad
But what I'm not sure about is why or how this would come into play with Final Fantasy 13, seeing that it's using multiple disks anyway.
Maybe this was a coincidence....maybe not...kinda strange though.
I was expecting some kind of special art/design on the PS3 too.
