I'm only commenting on what I've seen here.
HHG has been unfairly mistreated here....there's no question about that. I've seen it with my own eyes, and I know you've seen it too.
If You are trying to convince me that HHG being African American has no bearing on much of the negative outpouring against him, you are NOT living in reality.
Yes, he has put out flamebait, and he has taken alot of "punches", justifiably so.
But when I see people calling him MANY racial slurs and even call him a "Ni***r" straight out....yeah...you are either naive or lying to yourself....seriously.
1. People claim to hate his headlines because they call them "divisive" and "flamebait". On that point, that has been true alot of the time. HHG has put out some flamebait titles in order to get hits to his site. Personally, it doesn't bother me one bit....I like tabloid enquirer stuff from time to time because it's entertaining.
2. The other reason so many people dislike HIPHOPGAMER, is because he's African American. This cannot be refuted because I've see...
But according to Wiki, Atari 2600 sold approx. 30 million units. I'm sure they could be 5 million'ish off either way, but the fact that PS3 has about 33 million units now....obviously, the PS3 has beaten the Atari 2600 in units sold...if not officially then quite soon. The PS3 has already sold more units than the N64.

People bought their their "FAT" PS3's for a nice chunk of change ($400-$600) and they bought these systems predicated on the features that it had.
If Sony tries to take away these features simply because they want to, then that is something of a BAIT AND SWITCH. You will probably see lawsuits because just because their own made up "terms and conditions" may have that covered, it doesn't necessarily make it LEGAL or ETHICAL.

Considering they've fired or burned out all of their talent pool making crappy and money grab sequels all this time.
Seriously. Sure the winner wins $500k, but think about all the good losers. All of their games and developers will be ripe for cherry picking by Activision.
Then they can take their games, give em $10k or so, and publish said game on XBOX LIVE, PSN, and maybe even Wii Network, and make 100 times that amount, easy.

Without First party support, and with every other system (both Wii and PS3) upping the ante of their online systems to favorably compare to XBOX LIVE, how is Microsoft, with few exclusive games, gonna help keep itself from losing its "second place" status? Because I gotta tell, you, XBOX 360 is DANGEROUSLY close right now.

First, Microsoft doesn't have 100% third party support...no ones does, darthv72.
Second, I think that you are missing key points into why it may "seem" MS has a "genuine" compliance with more 3rd party devs.
The reason, is because Microsoft has paid and/or incentivised many developers. But now, because PS3 has reached its 33 million install base, no developer will take the same paltry money or paltry incentives any more, rather, very few of them will.....
Even some good studios they had like FASA and ENSEMBLE, genuinely good studios, they closed them....why? What about RARE? Allegedly, the word was, around Christmas time Microsoft had rare making Christmas themes....CHRISTMAS THEMES?!! (poor Rare :( )
I used to wonder why Microsoft never made a strong effort to buy Bioware and now, it's clear. Microsoft doesn't possess the creative capacity to hold and nurture creative endeavors for long periods of time.

A serious console game that doesn't have to have aliens, or unrealistic massacres ( ala: GTA), that tells an adult and mature story. I've been awaiting a game like this for years.
