While I am looking forward to seeing how Gaikai will work and be implemented,
I will be very disappointed, angry even, if Sony tries to charge us again for games that were purchased digitally from the PSN.
I expect to be able to access and play JOURNEY, for example.
We'll see how it goes, I guess.
@n4rc,
Last time I checked, it was the XBOX One that couldn't upload gameplay and videos to vid sites like Twitch.
Just Sayin.
We all know about those extra secret Gpu's inside the XBOX One.
We shouldn't forget that.
The problem with your sentiment is.....is that you're wrong.......common but wrong.
The PS3 was never doing poorly.
PS3 sold 8 million units in its first year.
I use Craigslist......works great for me.....especially for game trades.
I've even used it to hook up a few times.
However, the article didn't say this particular transaction was through Craigslist.
By the way, with larger transactions your idea of being at the police station is a good idea.
Would they get bubbles?
:P
@JsonHenry,
I would agree with you, but Tablets have yet to outdo the output of the PS3 & XBOX 360, and those machines are 7 and 8 years old.
Please excuse my ignorance, but what is Senran Kagura?
And who are the chicks in the thumbnail pic?
@alb1899
It's 40%.
Did you really have to ger all defensive over a trivial 10%?
It's actually 3 Gpus.
I'd show you where they are........but it's a secret.
PS4's Gpu is approx 40% more powerful than the XBOX One's Gpu.
Most games use New York. Even their other conspiracy game, Watch Dogs, is in New York.
I would have appeciated a different city other than New York.
Maybe Chicago or San Francisco or something.
I can't watch the vid right now.
Can someone spoil the facts for me?
@piffyd said
"and you can bet that ps3 emulator is only a year out now"

PS3 emulation is alot further away than that, I'm afraid.
There is nothing currently available that can emulate a CELL Processor with any practicality.
Add the fact that most consumers are using X86 based cpus, this actually makes CELL emulation even more daunting.
We will probably finish out the rest of this decade without any reasonable ...
@s45gr32....
It's about technological and manufacturing practicality.
In order for the PS4 to be 'PS3-B/C', the PS4 would need to be equipped with a current CELL Processor (45nm) and a gpu (possibility Nvidia specific).
It not only would raise the cost by approx $150, but it would also change the fragile logistics of the box itself (Size/Heat).
PS4's main marketing strength so far is price.
PS3 B/C would have potentiall...
@king_george...
We don't know yet....I don't even think Sony knows all of the details yet.
However, I do hope that we are at least given the opportunity to play our already downloadabe and 'owned' PS3 games (like JOURNEY) for free. They might require PS+ subscription though.
I somehow doubt they are gonna let us use Gaikai for free just because we have the disks.
Lots of questions to be answered.
$500?
I wouldn't count on it bro.
That Xi3 Piston game machine is approx $1,000.
Do you know why?
Because that company does not have the buying power or leverage that Sony and Microsoft have.
I don't believe Valve does either.
Well, technically,
Isn't Gears already 'multiplatform'? (PC)
A Wii U with little 3rd party support for $300 I just cant consider to be a "smart choice".
Maybe when it gets to $99 - $150.
They're not worty.
