I agree. After replaying remake I realize they just don't make games like that anymore. The mansion design and puzzles and atmosphere were all just genius. You actually had to use your brain instead of just walking a linear path of over the top action and set pieces.
Spotify is great if your a music lover. For 10 bucks I can pretty much listen to about 99% of anything I can think of besides the few artists that have weird restriction on the use of their music like the Beatles and tool. I rarely listen to radio friendly music anyone and I love that even my friends bands are on there even though they are on tiny little record labels. They also have tons of rare and hard to find songs from bigger names too. Its very convient to have basically an entire recor...
Wind waker came out in march on GameCube. I think everything will be fine.
Everyone should see Battle Royal.
I would bet good money that VR really is the future of gaming. Ive played oculus demos and even in its early stages my mind was blown and I became a believer. All I could think about was how great it would be to explore skyrim or a virtual new York with it. The virtual roller coast felt so real. My only concern is the effects it will have on the brain in the long term. Horror games could really mess with the psyche.
Dragon knight I couldn't agree more. I'm all for remakes but these so called "remasters" are getting old. The ps3 isn't even dead yet so its not like these games aren't still easily available. As I mentioned before it really is showing me just what a small upgrade this new generation of systems are.
Its not remasters that I have a problem as i love being able to get a chance to play or replay games I missed and/or love from the past on the current gen system. My problem is that it really shows you what a small jump from last gen to this gen really is. Its pretty much coming down to games going from 720p to 1080p and 30 fps to 60 fps and even that can be a struggle for some games. Can anyone honestly say theres been a game this gen that couldnt have been done on last gen? You never saw Pl...
Yes Eternal champions Sega CD. A really cool cast of characters and and really long thought out stage fatalities. One of the most under rated fighting games of all time.
Having just started up resident evil remake HD I can hinestly say that's exactly what a resident evil game should be. I figured that the game could scare me like it did back on GameCube but I was wrong. Its not even so much scary as it is creepy and just sets a mood and tone like no other game I've ever played. The sound and level design are great and just feels eerie and lonely like I'm trapped in a haunted house all by myself. Not to mention the puzzles are great. To me 5 and 6 ...

Why do you hate the gamepad so much? It has the same buttons as a ps4 controller and has a nice big full touch screen on it. Not to mention 2 cameras. Sure it could be slightly more comfortable but that's getting not picky. I know a couple weeks ago I was sick so I downloaded legend of Zelda minish cap on it and I was able to play it on the touchscreen in my bed even with the system in the living room. I can't complain about that kind of flexibility.
The gamepad is great. Its the motion controls that are pointless. I love Wii u and playing games on the gamepad. The outdated and clunky Wii remote and nunchunk combo not so much.
Bloodrayne and ssx that isn't the one that released a couple years ago would be good. Maybe tony hawk if they could find a way to make it feel new and fun again.
Really? Disagrees about a VR spiderman game? Some people must just hate fun.
Give me a spiderman game and I'm happy.
How is Joel's daughter from the last of us not on this list. Anyone with a daughter or even a soul at all felt the punch in the gut after that scene and that's when you know the game was going to be something special. All that impact without even getting to know the character more than 5 minutes into the game.
As much as I can't wait for the new Zelda I'd be very surprised if it gets released this year. Its just too epic in scale with too little information so far. I'd guess spring 2016.
Cause you can get all 3 metroid prime games on Wii u for 9 bucks. Best 9 bucks I ever spent.
I think the biggest thing here that nobody is really talking about is that the generation leap this cycle is a lot smaller than ps2 to ps3. In fact the leaps get smaller every generation since super NES to Nintendo 64. I have yet to see anything on the upcoming slate for either system that isn't just a prettier sharper version of the games we were getting last gen. I think VR and AR will be the next game changers for the video game industry. I was blown away with what I saw using a very e...
I've felt for a long time now that games are subconsciously scored long before they are ever fully played. Its all about hype and are conceived notions.
Or even just use the new remake HD as a jumping off point to restart the franchise. The story and ideas outside of the bad acting is great in the remake. The little things I missed the first time around like the family held captive there and turned into monsters were a nice touch. I think with the success of its sales it shows what the fans really want. So using that momentum they could either do a full on remake of re2 or tweak it to be a new story completely and still call it resident evil ...
