Yes I understand fractions but I'm talking about using a wider scale. Think of it like this, if you had 100 dollars and you lost 1 of those dollars it wouldn't seem like that big of a deal. But if you had 10 dollars and you lost 1 dollar It would feel like a bigger loss. Get what I'm saying?

My personal opinion on it is that if your using a scale of 1 to 5 or 1 to 10 it absolutely deserves a perfect score. If your using the 1 to 100 scale then there's room to nit pick and the game becomes about a 97.

Yes there's a few frame rate drops but not for a second has it ever pulled me out of the game or been so annoying that it frustrates me to the point I don't want to play it. The frame rate issue has been overblown.

Basically when lo...

I love when people just spout nonsense without any bit of proof. I haven't grounded at all and that's what I love. It's a natural progression that doesn't feel forced. And so far from what I've played there are no wasted areas and areas that look empty almost always are hiding some kind of secret to discover. It's up to the player to experiment and see what might be hidden around every corner. This is why the game is getting such great reviews.

Side question here but does anyone have an answer to why this is the only subtitled main entry to final fantasy? It's one of the only numbered titles I haven't played so I don't know what the zodiac age means. I also remember hearing that this game actually had connections to a spin off final fantasy game and maybe that should where the sub title comes into play? Been curious about this one for awhile.

I fully agree! I love every Zelda game but a link to the past just edges out ocarina of time but breath of the wild could take the top spot. I'm overwhelmed with this world and I've barely scratched the surface. My Zelda and gamer OCD wants to see every little thing but don't even know where to start so I just slowly take it all in.

No. And I'm a die hard Nintendo fan since the days of the NES. The switch will have some great games that I will enjoy immensely but PS4 just can't be touched as far as exclusives and third party support. I'll probably play 1 switch game for every 4 or 5 PS4 games.

Yeah the choice to go mini disc was not a great one. They couldn't hold the data like the DVD ps2 games could and video was very noticeably compressed. Tiger woods golf had to be put on 2 discs. The partnerships they had at that time were great. Resident evil remake 0 and 4 were all exclusives at the time as well as a few other gems but with the limited space you weren't going to get your final fantasy 10s and grand theft auto 3s and that hurt the GameCube bad.

Yeah and didn't gamespot give skyward sword a 6.5 or something. I'm sure there are outlets that have some bias toward Zelda games but for the most part I think they have all Been scored pretty fairly.

I don't get it either. Even when the game was new I remember thinking how cool some of the technological advancements over San Andreas were but wondered why it felt so much more limiting than San Andreas. Not just in size but in things you could do and vehicles etc.

Outside of halo and gears of war, which have been driven into the ground at this point, and maybe Star Wars:kotor, have there really been any must play Xbox exclusives? I'm sure someone will want to say Fable but it seems that franchise never met its expectations.

Whatever happened to all that talk of the power of the cloud or how they claimed to have dropped the mic at E3 2014 only rob cancel all the major games announced that year?

My understanding is konami wants to focus on easy money mobile games so I don't see them spending a lot of time and effort for castlevania or metal gear anniversaries. Especially the latter seeing how badly the break up between Kojima and konami went. That being said Id love a ps4 metal gear legacy collection as well as a metal gear solid 1 remake. A castlevania collection would be cool as well.

Is it heavy in wind waker stuff? I've been trying to balance no spoilers but wanting to learn more. I do know there are references to both wind waker and twilight princess stuff which is what leads me to believe they will merge the timelines. Wind waker seems more off the path of the whole hyrule world so it's interesting if this game has a lot of references to it.

Resident evil 7 in VR is hands down one of the most fun and unique experiences I've had with a video game in a long time. Yes the game looks better on the tv but it doesn't matter. Feeling like I'm actually in that house with that family of psychos is a blast and everything I imagined VR could be.

Yes this is exactly what I'm thinking too. Tie them all together and go forward. Some of the hints in the trailers show this could be a strong possibility.

My biggest issue with open world games is the constant unnecessary amount of side/fetch quests. Every single open world game I can think of has them and all they ever amount to is repetative gameplay that gets me currency or items I probably could have lived without. If I can get 40 hours out of an open world game and the game was fun, I feel I got my money's worth. Adding an extra 40 plus hours worth of filler is only going to serve to make my backlog even bigger cause I can't keep u...

Why are so many of their "new" games out of the shrink wrap? That's always been shady to me. And yes those stickers drive me nuts.

Resident evil in VR is an unmatched experience. It's terrifying and so much fun.

It's amazing and everything I wanted from a VR game. I can just never go back to playing it on a tv. This game has re energized my hope for what VR can do. Not only is it scary as hell but also just fascinating technology. Being right up in grandmas face and having her blink at you is unsettling but the perfect little touch.

Actually I find the default settings are best with the 30 degree cut turns. It's suppose to cut down on motion sickness. I'm also playing it on a PS4 pro so I don't know if that makes a diffence or not.
