what speeds do you manage? Both my pc and PS3 are wired to the router but pc see's dl speeds of 4.5mb/s (in steam) compared to 1mb/s on PS3
As described in my post above:
Steam downloads on my pc = 4.5-5mb/s
PS3 downloads on DMZ = 1mb/s
Both wired connections to the router so I really don't believe DMZ makes much of a difference in terms of downloads.
I don't think so... I have 50mb Virgin media and usually get 35mb down according to speedtest. Via Steam on PC I download at 4.5-5mb/s whereas on PS3 (in DMZ) it only downloads at maybe 1mb/s (based on physically watching the download)

Yeh considering you could give voice commands back on the ps2 with socom I don't believe they need the need kinect at all and this gen a few games have dabbled in voice commands, so what makes ME3 different?

I was noticing it more last night where I was using a single shot rifle (MK14) so was able to tell exactly how many shots I fired and how most didn't show on the killcam lol
My problem with Killstreaks in COD is that they dominate too much, like you say they 'do the work for you'
Games are basically won by who gets the killstreaks first and with the addition of the care package you could get lucky and get a chopper gunner (or similar) after a mere 3 kills with hardline.
As others have mentioned though, clearly people like killstreaks and perks as the 'barebones' playlists have a much much lower playercount to stan...
Judging from most reactions to the device around forums I doubt it. Most think it's over priced and wouldn't want to play the vast majority of pc games with a controller anyway. Plus I don't believe this was ever meant to compete with vita anyway

Well in the past you had 2 platforms. the 360 required a subscription to play online which presumably helped fund this exclusive map deal with Activision for the last few COD games.
By introducing this Elite subscription I believe all elite members should get the dlc at the same time, then the other deal takes effect i.e. standard 360 owners followed by standard ps3 owners.
Edit: I understand why the deal is the way it is but I really don't agree with it ...
This really does suck. I bought MW3 on ps3 cus that's where most of my friends are, I paid the same for the game + elite as I would have done had I bought it for 360 and yet I don't get the same service??
The 360 getting the dlc a month before ps3 in past CODS was bad enough but understandable, however when you throw in a 3rd party sub into the mix I find it unacceptable.
The only positive is that providing elite dlc is every month when 360 gets conte...

Theres no skill in the video as demonstrated and there's no skill when I get killed and then spawn behind the guy that killed me, the guy already in my cross-hairs lol

I'm not talking about lag issues.... I'm talking about actual download speeds. Yes if I run a speedtest on my ps3 I get speeds of around 30-35mb (same as my pc) but you don't actually download at that rate... It's all dependant on where your getting the data from and there must be a bottleneck on Sony's end imo.
I presume I got disagree's because I said downloads on PS3 are slow. I'm just stating facts based on my networ...
