Very true lol his comment even sounds quite sarcastic.
anyway might give this a look tbh
At least i can try the trial today. Who knows i might hate it haha but i hope not becuase been looking forward to playing an fps again and the game just looks simple and fun. The majority of my mates will wait for the ps3 version though
The thing is a good sniping game could have been really good. I know a lot of people loved sniper elite.
having seen video's though it just looks like an fps that limits the user to snipers only. For a sniping game to work it has to go for the sim/realism route imo
Good line up. Will deffo pick up limbo and possibly lara croft + castlevania.
probably gonna pick up tango down today to kick things off but would have preferred the ps3 version (unfortunately devs are saying 4-6 weeks :|)
there are trials for some games. It's most likely due to sony charging publishers for any downloads via psn so most choose not to put up a trial that's gonna cost em
i believe playstation plus has offers and discounts monthly not weekly. could be wrong of course
or family fortunes if your from the uk lol
Cheers for the info anyway. 1 game i'm really looking forward to playing.
Ok i just checked their twitter too.
7th July for 360 (i.e. tomorrow) and ps3/pc to follow shortly. I reckon within 2 weeks. fingers crossed
beta's not about trying a game though really, it's about testing it.
Now adays though developers use beta's more of a pre order tool than to really fix issues imo.
and to save you the trouble, it gets boring very quickly. It's essentially halfway between bfbc and cod4 but not as good as either. It just feels half arsed which is a shame cus i was honestly looking forward to this hoping it to be a game to play as an alternative to black ops
Tbh i played the beta and although i respect some of the ideas they had they just didn't pull off a good game.
- bad lag online
- repetitive missions
- lack of balancing with missions i.e. 3 vs 1
- lack of vehicle balancing e.g. some chase missions you'd chase a high level guy with a much better car than you making it impossible for you to catch them
- I know its an RPG but the later weapons are much better than the ones at the start gi...
haha great video
I cringed so much watching that girl getting worried about a virtual tiger
Special editions are much better when they are actually in limited number and therfore collectors items. If i were to spend £100+ on a SE (i wouldn't because i have better things to spend my money on right now) i doubt i'd open it but instead keep it sealed to 1 day appear on antiques roadshow lmao
Destructoid are now exactly a respectible site. Their reviews and features are crazy half the time and make no sense. Presumably if you agree with this review u also agree with http://www.destructoid.com/...
ps3 is £100 more.
Some people will pay this much though. I mean i'm sure a ton will pay £100 for the Halo: Reach legendary edition lol
"If I wanted BC I would have bought the PS3 when it came out. "
i did and eventally it died so i got an 80gb. Any other idea's? lol
obv hd classics are better but why not have both? obviously not every game is getting a hd remake and so what about all those other great ps2 titles people still want to play?
I'm sure even with backwards compatibility and if people already owned 1 of these classics, they'd still buy a hd remake if they loved the game
"Received a new gaming magazine"
good source lmao would have been nice to actually read the review. And anyway if the review score was posted why wasn't it included with the article here on N4G, or is that just to get hits?
I suppose the problem is that although Halo's still fun, the game hasn't changed all that much since the first game that released 9 years ago now
Well the games out within 3 weeks isn't it?
