Pretty much. Will be interesting to see though because dance games on the wii sell really well because imo it's in a lot of homes where someones sister or mum might pick up a single game and it's a dancing game to use on their brothers, husbands or whatever console.
The problem with dance central however is for a sister to ask her brother to borrow the 360 to play dance central, they also need to own natal. Point being it's a big investment for who i see as being ...
I had high expectations... then i played the beta. In all fairness the single player could still be worth it but this was one of those games i would have bought primarily for mp (which imo is a big disappointment)

i.e. it's not saying they sold 50,000 on day 1... just first week i.e. they prob broke even with a much lower number that 50,000 sold.
I did pick it up for full price but agree that it would have been better at a lower price point. That said it is a fun game with tons of levels and the difficulty gets nice and challenging after a little while

I'm a bit bored atm so tempted by this but then i never played the first so the better option for me would prob be to pick up the first game for dirt cheap. Imo it looks slightly better graphically than this game too
they may do eventually. The 360 is still viewed as being the console for competitive play though imo, particulary with shooters so unsurprising they went for the 360 market first.
For $10 than a regular 360 controller it's tempting for the looks alone, although the idea of adjusting the tension on the analogues + customizable buttons is cool. Might well get one next time i need a new controller
As fun as the assassins creed games are they haven't changed all that much. I mean in a 3 years period we will have had AC, AC II and AC brotherhood. The changed made between the games is always good but not exactly a leap + releasing games in such quick succession makes me think they should have left bigger gaps between the games.
AC - good little game but with flaws that put some ppl off
AC II - improved on nearly all the flaws from the first

Theres this really clever thing i worked out the other day. basically i own a 360 and a ps3, that way i can play any game i want. it's amazing really, means i don't have to argue on the internet
they're pretty different games tbh. Trials going for the physics based approach to time trials and joe danger more about over the top stunts and exploration.
whichever is better than which is all down to personal preference.
Anyway Joe danger is a lot of fun but kinda getting a bit bored of it. Think it would have been better at a lower price point. Also i wonder if we'll get family fued here on the uk store, of course over here the show is called fam...

I guess the thing is, they compare it against other shooters but i mean i've played all of them already. Right now i'm after a few hours from a cheap game to tide me over until starcraft II at the end of the month.
Anyway theres a trial for people to give the game a go
it's a fun little fps to play over the summer. It's not trying to do anything special but because it is so simple i actually enjoy it more. Reminds me of oldschool shooters from last gen which straight away sounds like a bad thing, but honestly shooters this gen haven't had the staying power of last gen imo
Very true imo. While people get excited for a sequel they want something to satisfy them in the meantime, an obvious choice is to play the last game in the series.
The other day i remember seeing 2 people on my friends list playing inFamous. I personally went and played killzone 2 again after watching the first kz3 trailer and as the build up to Reach gets underway i'm tempted to give halo 3 another go.
I just wanna see what they're doing with the mp now tbh. Socom single player was always good fun and i'm glad it's back for the next proper socom in the series but for me socom was always about mp first
