You'd think so, instead it's just not as good as either imo lol and COD really does my head in
cus the games absolutely dead. i actually bought it when it released and there were about 200 people playing max. I dunno what it is but the gameplay is just so so boring. A real shame cus in video's i thought it looked quite fun
well it's because the ending to Alan Wake is a massive cliff hanger
I'd like to see a bigger push for arcade titles on the psn imo. Don't get me wrong, psn has had some amazing downloadable titles, but there's not a constant flow when you compare it to xbla.
So i wouldn't say they need their own summer of arcade but should push arcade titles more. I personally love it when 1 weekend i'm bored with nothing to play and can just go on psn/xbla and buy and be playing a cheap arcade game within minutes
Was fun at first but got boring quickly imo, too much of the same. I mean there are all these weapon combos to try but at the end of the day whatever u use it's pretty much just aim roughly at the enemy, spray a few bullets and get a kill cus the hit detection is off and you only need 2-3 bullets for a kill
Odd when every other gaming media site was saying if it was $150 it would be too high...
Maybe with a really killer line up but as it stands i believe casuals are interested in the launch titles, but not enough to wanna pay $150 or $300 if they don't already own a 360. Could be totally wrong but i just don't see it.
Wii did well to casuals becuase it was new but was also the cheapest console. I mean even expensive peripherals such as the balance board...
people who wanna use it? what a stupid question
Hope they get it fixed. I intend on buying move so will have a pseye so would be cool if i could use this feature
Really? graphically i don't think the game looks anything special but i suppose looking at still like this does show up any flaws that aren't usually noticeable in motion.
i'd say both versions have their strengths and weaknesses but perhaps the 360 takes the edge overall. Either way it should be enjoyable on either console providing the performance is similar
It begs the question then, why do we have to play this game on the wii if the best way to play it is without motion controls lol
not had chance to play with my mates yet but they enjoy it and so far looks like it could be a lot of fun, and it's free lol so can't really complain
i agree. I made the effort to go out to the shops and pre order just to get a code after seeing the gameplay at E3. Gotta say i'm very disappointment. The game is very rough around the edges (and yes it's a beta but i've played enough betas to know not much will change) and just feels like a half arsed effort by DICE who took on the work to develop a mp component for MoH when they prob already have enough to keep them busy.
Some glaring problems:
...
talking about me? i mean when you look at the screenshots you can't clearly make out the objects in the distance but you can in the pc version. And if you think i'm a 360 fanboy, think again and check my psn. The fact is i just say things how it is...
Hard to compare the graphical tech behind it when gta is 2 years old but i think i prefer the art style in mafia II, the colour pallet is better imo
ps3 version looks a bit blurry, especially in the distance but then i wouldn't expect any different compared to pc screens. why wasn't the 360 compared as well though?
also shame about lack of aa on the ps3 version but again aa is standard on pc

I think it's a small team etc. Off the top of my head i think this as an idea that spawned years ago and they were finally able to create this game. Probably could only afford to develop for a single platform atm
not really. it may turn out to be an excellent game etc but gears and vanquish are in different areas of the cover based shooter. gears being much more slower paced tactical tps and vanquish being fast paced/ott action.
and i see some people were debating mp, this does matter imo cus i know a lot of ppl buy a game like gears for its competitive and co-op mp, therefore no matter how successful vanquish is, there will always be a market for gears imo
Although to call it a cash in suggests that actually not too much work was put into this game in which case they could still be working on AC3 at the same time?
yeh was gonna say, especially the second picture of the falling building and the 1 with motion blur. Just looks a lot like concept art rather than screenshots...
