Pissed off at Sony for not having secure enough software (although I understand hackers will always find a way round things) but also annoyed because it took them this long to tell us our details may have been stolen.
Also annoyed at hackers and anyone who supports them.
Actually it wouldn't surprise me if the interest in hacking Sony by anonymous resulted in someone taking it that bit further and going after personal details.

plus subscribers are paying for the content and discounts in plus each month, not the network service.
Get home from work with my nice new copy of socom ready to play online and I can't.... If this is anonymous again they must surely see the ones they are pissing off is the people they are 'protecting'
I wouldn't really call it a scam but more clever marketing. If you pay £30 or whatever it is just in the hope of getting portal 2 early then more fool you.
It's no more a scam than publishers including access to beta's via game purchases
well because UK release dates are always on Fridays (although Thursday this week cus of good Friday)
basically just a way to get people to buy and play those indie games. End of the day anyone who bought the pack and now decides to complain that they're not getting portal 2 early/much earlier are just a bit silly since no one forced them to buy or play the games lol
good because my xbox 360 just died and is out of warranty now (about 2 years since it last died and got repaired). Could do with getting a bigger hdd and hdmi (yes I have one of the original 20GB 360's) in the process and £150 isn't too bad
25 hours on the beta says i'm looking forward to playing the full game regardless of review scores. The thing with socom is the vast majority of the audience will know already if they want to buy this game based on being fans of the past games/ playing the beta. I know plenty of 'old school' socom players who hate the beta but then i've also been playing since the first socom and i love it.
The more 'casual' gamers who each year just buy COD, fifa etc ...
as the message on the shutters states 'sorry for any inconvenience'.... excatly, it's inconveniencing any consumers who were going to that sony store that day... but i thought this was targeting sony not the consumers...tbf though I don't think i'd ever buy direct from a sony store considering you could get the same products for cheaper elsewhere.
Also does anyone find it odd that there are only pictures of the closed store and not the '300' people...
problem is all these companies are the same. It seems the only reason they're going after sony is because of the recent court case with geohotz.
Or to put it another way, would they be standing in Sony stores wearing masks if Geohotz hadn't posted the hack online for other people to access.

not a case of money, more a case of when to play them when they all release on the same day!
For me getting socom 4 at launch to play with my clan etc then out of portal 2 and mk i'll get the one that first gets a weekend discount deal at game or whatever.
portal 2 on ps3 seems the way to go too considering you get the pc version with it as well. play portal 2 on pc with slightly better graphics and on the ps3 with my friends in co-op
Unusual that the hackers decided to do a ddos attack in the morning rather than say when the site is likely to be busiest in the evening.
Didn't take long for Sony to bring the sites back online though it seems
agreed. Out in the open it wasn't too bad but in close area's I often found myself trying to adjust the view to see what the hell was going on.
Speaking of the view, another thing... sort the vote system out lol theres no need for it to take so much space
some good fixes, hopefully they'll fix some of the other stuff mentioned too such as the grenades, and ability to switch shoulders when aiming.
I keep hearing the game does actually have a party system but not seen anything official. A friend even said that when playing the beta a party system did appear but it didn't work then it went again lol so perhaps they're still tweaking it?
Surprised by most of these, especially portal 2. So far any sites that have done pieces on portal 2 have said the puzzles are way more complex than the first and that during the demo's the developers to hand were constantly having to give tips.
Just because of the 2 co-op robots from the video's and hands on previews i've seen it's looking to be portal but with a ton more content and much more complex puzzles = exactly what i'm hoping for
I'm not sure the comparison was to say which was better but more to show the translation of a character from one game to the other.
I personally think they have done a good job and looking forward to trying him out. Just hope he's well balanced
