Would be more interesting to see sales without prologue. We know GT5 prologue sold better than most AAA games because people were waiting for GT5. I don't actually think the GT5 sales will be as high as some people expect but then it's a game that has longer legs rather than high day 1 sales. Tbh I still think some casual fans don't even realise it's been released yet

well I was looking forward to Crysis 2 but was disappointed when playing the 360 mp demo. It just didn't play that well and I was quite disappointed by the graphics.
Chances are i'll pick this up for single player only on pc which lets face it will in reality look much better than the console versions
Not sure i agree that these are the big problems with killzone 3 although some are good points.
For me the standout one for me that more people will start to use is:

depends, at least with infiltrators you stand a chance at spotting them due to odd behaviour, knowing that there shouldn't be team mates ahead of you according to the radar and so on. With snipers though it's much harder to stop someone who's invisible when stood still lol

that's why I'm looking forward to it. Not getting the limited edition bulletstorm though so hope there are other ways into the beta. Always best to try things first hand than watch videos.
Looks good. I've always wanted to like gears mp but never could cus of the host advantage and the way your standard weapon could pound someone with bullets only to have them sprint up and chainsaw you. Watching the video though it seems it's not too hard to get kills with the lancer (or whatever the new ones called) and obv host adv is no longer a problem.
Also i'm much prefering the art style, it seems games are finally getting away from the grey and brown period...
Doubt this will happen. I'm sure if they could have they would have put online co-op in but for whatever reason they haven't.
I think the only reason it's in at all as an offline co-op mode is cus of the complains that killzone 2 didn't have co-op.

Never played the Yakuza games, only the demo's. Is it just me though or does the game just feel really dated in comparison to anything else that's been out in recent years.
The graphics are muddy and the fighting is nothing new
Although I respect that people can use their own money how they wish, I imagine most people will have donated so that a hacker can fight a court case but wont have donated to charities that try and give people the chance of survival.
I don't really believe any retailers will have an idea of the price just yet but I would say £250 is a sensible price for sony. any more is way to much but with the Ds at 220 I think people can be swayed to spend £30 more

Exactly, his claim that he owns the ps3 hardware and therefore can hack it himself I am unsure on so wont comment, however... whether he was legally allowed to hack the ps3 or not, it's the fact that he then passed on this information to others

tbh although ads is useful for long shots in general i find killzone 3 and 2 can be played without having to ads too much, providing your crosshairs are over the enemy you just need to control your bursts, it's not like COD where theres a massive difference between ads and hip fire
I wasn't actually expecting anything impressive visually anyway. For a start the only other game from zipper on current consoles is MAG and that's a large scale 254 player game. Chances are it's the same or similar engine in which case if it was designed for MAG then it was designed for performance more than graphics.
