1. Courier bag, problem frickin' solved pal. And if you're not to keen on any sort of bags, well, that's just your problem. i personally find nothing wrong with bringing a courier bag to work/school carrying portable handhelds.
2. Then buy games for the PS3. Sony proved there is a market for console like experience on the go. And before you all pull the 3DS argument, take look at it's game lineup first.

Also, "Sony will make a loss" might mean the price for the NGP should be around the price range of 250-300$ or maybe higher.
But i really hope it's priced close to the 3DS (wishful thinking, i know)

The thing is, i just can't picture the PSP2 going DD only, the only things im really hoping for are dual analog sticks and multiplatform games between the PSP2 and the 3DS with their own exclusives, much like current gen consoles.

I know, because the Ipod & Iphone was never properly built for gaming on the go.
They were built as a media device, with tons apps, music, movies. But it lacked one thing the PSP and the DS had, yep, that's right, no proper controls and the games made for it were small, low budget and cheap. It's not out yet, and we're still waitin' for the PSP2 announcement.
Besides, the only real winners here are the consumers.
But for the PS3 and Xbox360 ? i dont think so.
What i think will happen is that the Nintendo will get a really good head start with their next console. The coming years will become really interesting.

I really hope atleast 3/4 on the dev support list (80+ Imaageepoch was confirmed to be working on the NGP aswell) are working on something original. but dont forget possible sequels too.
More specifically:
Square Enix working on KH BBS volume 2 and one of the numbered "Type" games for the NGP.
Level 5 working on Dark Cloud 3 and Rougue Galaxy 2.
SCE working on The Legen...
