The only difference is the 3D, strip that away and you're holding a PS2/DS hybrid. (i say PS2 because if the 3D is turned off, it's visuals slightly exceeds the PSP placing it in the PS2 area)

It seems like the 3D on the 3DS is heavily developer reliant. It's basically up to them how well they utilise the 3D.
Looks really awsome.
But also saddens me that i didn't invest more on upgrading my own PC to play great PC games (i can barely get Crysis to work on lowest setting possible)
