Like what ? 3D ?
You can only go so far with 3D, it's only a graphical layer made to be eye candy. It's not a game changer.
The circle pad ?
The thing the PSP already only made a bit more comfortable ?
AR games ?
NGP can do it aswell.
Gyroscope ?
NGP can do it aswell.
Dual - screen ?
Yeah, well, thats probably one thing the where 3DS ...

And a couple of more but i can't seem to remember their names.
And i'll wait for it's spin-off, Nanoseconds.
The article isn't fail, it depends on how you see it.
If for one think unless EA, Insomniac and Zipper decided to make original IP's and not just ports (even though 50% of all confirmed ones working on the NGP will most likely release a port) i think we could do without them.
Sorry, but im not seeing the source, if you're refering to the edited post on the forum linking to the main site of Develop-online, well, that's exactly what it does....linking to the main site of Develop-Online.
The only news post over at Develop-Online that even mentions the word "Griptonite" is this:

Im not seeing a actual source for this other than a forum post.
Seriously doubt it will cost more than a retail PSP game, some PSP games even reach prices as high as regular console games.
True, but dont you think it's too early ? They've got the NGP to worry about. Im guessing once the NGP manages to pick up some speed (let's say, when it's been out in the market for 1-2 years) maybe then we will hear an announcement about the PS4.
Im guessing it'll be hinted at in this year's E3 and announced in the next years E3 (or in a special PS event similar to the NGP),
And be released mid/late 2013.
What if the PS4 will be developed for 3D in mind ?
Like, any game developed for it will properly use 3D without an downgrade in speed and power. and will maybe make use of this: http://i54.tinypic.com/6nva...
Then again, i read somewhere this could be hooked on and used on the PS3, that is, if we get lucky enough and this 3d headset thinga-majig gets released soon.
The next Xb...
.....Im certain if some developer decide to do a open world game for the PS3 exclusively, and had extensive and proper knowledge of the PS3 architecture(like ND) and knows how to properly use the SPE's(like ND)........
Most 3rd party dev's ignore the most efficent way of developing the game for the PS3, which most of the time result in a poor multiplatform game for the PS3 with the 360 version usually ending up being the better one.
It's not really about being fearless and give low/mediocre score to franchise games that are know to be good.
It's more about attention, for example, you see a bunch other site giving a good review/score (lets say 8 or higher)
And lets say a lone individual decides to nitpick and pick part of the games that annoy HIM ! that's right, what annoys HIM and nobody else.
What most consumers dont get is that it's this guy's OPIN...

Looks like screen grabs from the youtube trailer.
I guess it'll look a lot better when it's actual out.
Fall 2013 - Early 2014 is my opinion.
Im pretty sure Nintendo will be the first to jump on the Next-Gen console train, followed by Microsoft and Sony.
Im guessing Sony will use the same tactic they did with the PS1/NGP, talk with a bunch devs and ask for the opinion on the next-gen console, wouldn't be wrong to assume they might be doing so even now.
Microsoft will probably be working hard on the graphics side making it easier to make goo...
Of course you are :)
Scheduled for this years E3 i reckon :)
The regular ones are the ones selling anyway.
I guess they jacked up the price because the NGP.
Trying to get as much money as possible out of it.
Sonys expectations towards this handheld were already met.
It's a place to gather proffesional video game developers, to disscuss and learn, roundtables, lectures and tutorials.
Got nuthin' to do with announcing games.
They're refering to the NGP/PS1, you know, actually asking what the devs want (like the PS1) not the PS3.
And what's with the Anti-Sony stance ?
Cant we all just......get along ?
What really impresses me is that PS Suite will support the NGP. Now there wont be an excuse for Iphone devs and smaller ones to not develop mini-casual like games for it aswell as PS certified devices.
Sony - Best showing with the most exclusives and new IP's, a formal NGP presentation & with new NGP game details and Kojima possibly revealing a game for the PS3/NGP.
As soon as the series grows really stale, BAM, Square Enix hits with a FF7 remake and every FF hater/fanboy will once again rejoin and proceed to buy the game.
Face it, any new FF game that may or may not suck will still sell. FFXIII is proof of that.
There will always be a market for FF games.
