"This preference," reads the report, "coupled with 3DS's awkwardly positioned D-pad, led some at the event to wonder whether a version for Sony's NGP would offer a better portable experience."
The revelation is a worrying sign for Nintendo's upcoming handheld. Could hardcore players already be unimpressed by the console's unique selling point? "
Not really, im pretty sure the 3DS will sell a lot, no matter how "ha...
"So far, games announcements for the NGP haven't actually been that promising. A huge number of games have already been announced and confirmed for the 3DS"
3DS = announced 2010, March, has had an E3 showing.
NGP = announced less than 3 weeks ago, has had neither GDC nor E3 showing.
Patience is a virute.
"Plus, console games are not necessarily well suited to a hand-held. You've got to keep in mind what co...
For one, the PSP lacked a touchscreen, a standard nowdays.
Which gave the NDS many unique games like Ghost Trick, Layton series and the Phoenix Wright series because of it's unique controls.
What's stopping Capcom and Level-5 from porting and/or doing really good and unique games on the NGP too ?
Im really hoping for some unique games with use of the camera and the dual analog sticks.
This does:

Take a look at the screenshots.
Is a lot more interesting than the actual graphics of it.
And yet no actual gameplay....
I read somewhere that downloadable NGP games wouldn't be using the same PSN as the PS3/PSP......
It'll be getting it's very own space. To fend off hackers i reckon.
I really doubt you'd get RE5 running properly on the 3DS.
And for some reason, it feels like this statement was aimed towards the NGP, but that's just me.
Not the "In-yo-face !" kind of 3D.
For some reason, consumers have been tricked into believing it's actual glassless 3D (the kind you can get on 3D TV's on that tiny screen and for that price.
"I'm not saying the NGP is something boring, but even the NGP lacks some things the 3DS has."
Let's go through em' shall we ?
"For instance, the PSP2 lacks 3D games, movies, and backwards com...
"the WipEout HD PS3 engine running on PS3 with no changes to the art platform. That means full resolution, full 60 frames per second. It looks exactly the same as it does on PS3 – all the shader effects are in there".
Holy crap that's awsome !
We need more original IP's !
Lets hope this prediction is "somewhat" true.
Oh well, i guess beggars cant be choosers.
I'll simply buy this one instead :)
So it's still coming out but now as a retail game ?
Make im' walk the plank i say.
PSN games are downloadble and playable on the NGP.
The only thing Sony has to do is to figure out what do with the ones who bought UMD's (maybe some sort of exchange program) and try to reason with devs some more in order to release some of their PSP games on the PSN (Im lookin' at you KH:BBS !)
And it's lookin' very nice so far. Weapon wheel, visible guiding line for the bullseye.
Both footages were taken off-screen.
And as a Youtuber said:
"how can you tell the difference if the two games are running different scenes in opposite landscapes?"
You might fool them the ones reading right now.
But you didn't get me.
Why dont you just man up and admit it was poorly worded instead of stealth editing.
Man, Google truly is your friend !

Maybe this will come instead of Ridge Racer.
Well, eiher that or the NGP is probably getting Ridge Racer Unbounded port.
