it is the wiiu all over again.
too expensive, too little software. nintendo have learnt nothing.
mario- great
zelda- great
xenoblade- fantastic.
but am i going to fork out 300+ for those games alone. zero chance.
nintendo blew it again.
@wonderfulmonkeyman - i told you nintendo would build a pay wall

mario 64 remaster
goldeneye 007 exclusive remaster
shenmue 1 and 2 HD exclusive

''Nintendo Tells Square "Never Come Back" After Fallout Over Final Fantasy VII''
using present tense when talking about something that happened 20+ years ago.
He may as well have just burped. Its not as if he would announce they have no titles
take it easy with the kool-Aid.
the three keys to success for switch are
1- original titles. it needs its own identity, it can only achieve that with switch exclusive titles, not the wiiu ports we have seen up to now.
2- third party support. doesnt need explaining, its an ongoing problem for all nintendo consoles for the last few decades.
3- a miracle. the handheld market is dominated by mobile/cell phones and ipads. ...
i have a switch
its graphics are on par, if not a little worse than wiiu's. breath of wild on switch has a visual downgrade from the wiiu version
not many games available at launch. im stuck playing breath of wild and a bunch of wiiu ports. so basically, i now have a new wiiu.
battery life is poor
internal memory storage is poor
internet features are poor
the screen is not ver...
diddy kong racing was a great game, it was good because it offered a mario kart-like experience, but was different enough to actually warrant existing.
mario kart wouldnt be mario kart if it was open world.
if they wanted to do an open would racer, it would be much more appropriate to release a new diddy kong racer.
i dont see why mario kart should always have to change its identity.
I always imagine you drinking kool aid while writing your replies
nintendo fans drink far too much Kool-Aid
its the dream scenario, but its not going to happen. the 3ds is still extremely popular. nintendo arent going to drop the 3ds like they have the wiiu.
its this precise reason they refer to the switch as a console, instead of a handheld, because they dont want the switch to compete with the 3ds in the handheld market.
this is why the switch will be a port dump, because it means devs will put in minimum work with maximum profit. nintendo are leading the way with an outrageous number of wiiu ports straight off the bat.
the switch will sell regardless if it has good or bad software because there are fans who will buy anything nintendo produce. but whether or not the switch will be a good system? thats a different story.
early indications are that it will be a dumping ground for recycled wiiu games and ports of last gen third party titles. ie not a successful system, just a device to play ports and shovelware. and the odd one or two actual switch titles that will come every holiday.
...
all i want to see is new software
i have zero interest in fillerware (recycled wiiu games)
its most likely a port, as the switch already has half a dozen wiiu ports lined up and god knows how many more to be announced.
its the opposite of exciting. a new console launching with old games from a failed console.
nintendo really know how to launch a new console. note: sarcasm
they will paywall, and you will be the first here to defend them.
its been finished for a LONG time. nintendo just sat on it until the switch was ready.
a rabbid/mario mashup is going to be crap. mario doesnt need rabbid rabbit. ubisoft are getting more out of it than nintendo. unless the deal was that mario was forced to be in a rabbid game for nintendo to secure ubisoft software exclusivity.
you must have more money than sense.
you are everything wrong with this generation and the sole reason why the switch will be doomed to be a port dumping ground, because consumers are foolish enough to rebuy things they already own.
its too soon for anything mario kart related anyway, how about they give us the f zero we have been waiting like, ten years for. but hey, why work hard to create a whole new game, when they can recycle pre-existing titles fro...
did i miss something or did they hype up the release date reveal for zelda and then not actually give it?
the mario game does look great
