How do people know these games even exist if they aren't marked? I haven't seen an ad for little kings story, or murama: demon blades for that matter. So publishers/developers need to STFU about poor sales and get their act together.
There are countless articles about silent hill shattered memories and little kings story, but they get totally ignored. No interest what so ever.

Im going to play it later and make my final judgement of it. How many times do you need to play a rubbish game before it actually starts to grow on you? Especially as you payed 35pounds for it.

Fair play to the kid but he sounds way too concerned with his weight for it to be healthy... and writing a book at that young age about it? It doesn't sound like he's had a childhood, just a youth spent counting calories.
Its obviously great that he has made the change, but i think its a bit sad at the same time. There is a part of me that thinks he is motivated by the bullying he received at school, and the book being a way at getting back at the bullies. People should be happy ...
I have bought other games on the VC just for nostalgia, like alex the kidd and vigilante. But the thing with NSMBW is its not meant to be a trip down memory lane is it? Its meant to be NEW super mario bros. So its disappointing there is nothing new about it.
I just don't find it fun, in fact it just annoys me. Its not like any of the other marios where i was glued to it (including the 3d ones,) its not fun so doesn't hold my attention.
Its probably one of those games...

I play mario bros (nes) for the nostalgia value. Mario world is an amazing game and has style. Basically every mario game since the 8bit era has had great design. So i don't know what's happened to nintendo with NSMBW.
I would give NSMBW 7/10 at best.

Um.. I download and play virtual console games. I bought NSMBW. I own a wii. I don't value graphics over gameplay. But i know lazy when i see it, i know when nintendo is just taking the P.

Only people with no taste would say NSMBW has good graphics. They are functional, thats all. No flair, no pizaz. You are digging your own grave anyway, because nintendo now know they ae selling to a bunch of idiots, so they will keep releasing games with the least amount...
I'm saying the visuals in NSMBW are uninspired and as a result creates a domino effect that ruins the game from the top down. How can you take a game seriously when it looks so... Lazy!
The charm the graphics created in past mario games is what captivates you, what makes you want to continue on your adventure. NSMBW just doesn't have that. its charmless, ugly even.

Im glad we are getting it in uk too. I saw the US trailer on youtube with some of the anime cutscenes and its amazing.

mario was a game originally built around technical limitations. Marios red and blue characteristics are defined by graphical limitations at the time. But by the time it got to the 16 bit era, designers could show some actual style and flair.
