I think Okami would have had more immediate success (and respect) on the Wii if they had made a sequel or Wii specific Okami.
I certainly would have bought it on release, but seeing as its a port i just think ''it can wait, its nothing new.''
I have heard its a great game though.
Its like the Resident Evil archive games they keep releasing. Its a bit insulting to me. Ok, they are good games but they shouldn't complain or be surprised if they don't sell. ...
maybe when sales start to slow down or they reach a wall in terms of what they can do with the technology, maybe then they will introduce the next wii. Its all pointless speculation really.
Or maybe they will go the ds route, and release countless different wii sku's. I personally wouldn't like things to go that way.
The same goes for the resident evil chronicle games... Come on, dont treat us like idiots. at least do a re-make of a classic resident evil game (like gamecube resident evil 1.) If you make decent games, people will buy them, as monster hunter tri proves.
I'l be getting the pack with the classic controller and wii speak. I won't be able to use wii speak right now but at least i'l have it for future use.
I haven't played a game like monster hunter before, so it should be interesting.
Really glad capcom are taking us europeans seriously.
The author needs to get a day job and stop posting this drivel.
She put in 1 hour a day on wii fit?
Thats like 2 hours of real time, seeing as wii fit only counts the time you actually spend doing the exercises, not navigating the menu's.
Wii fit is pretty good for teaching you the basics of exercise, but once you got the basics you really don't need wii fit.
One hours worth of exercise a day on wii fit isn't fun.
i'd put big money on this game being a waste of space. I'l be astounded if its even mediocre.
Well done Nintendo
The Japanese art looks more sinister. It is also more mysterious.
In the American art it throws all the info at you- A frozen girl in a town. There is no ambiguity, its just plain obvious.
The japanese art is more subtle, instead of a girl frozen from head to toe with stalactites coming off her, there is just snow blowing around. You can guess its cold. The town in the background is obscured so you wonder where she is, you get to use your imagination. Also with the t...
They obviously changed the design to work with a black wii case (mature game.)
I personally prefer the japanese art for the game, its more moody. The American cover art would be good for a horror book, like the old point horror books.
I hope we get the black cases in europe and the japanese artwork for this game.
Why is there what appears to be a christmas tree trimming in the items/inventory menu?
The ps3 and 360 users always act like money is not an issue, so if you love the game so much (as the countless comments prove) go and buy a wii!
You can't call yourself a 'gamer' if you are too proud to cop a wii.
who cares
:O)
Only an idiot complains about shovelware. I don't buy it so i don't care
Im also sick of hearing of the 'HD' bs, everybody knows even when there is a wii hd the moaners will move onto another 'problem.' Mostly likely the online capabilities. Something... Anything!
Um... HD is the last thing i think about when i think of my list of dream features for the next zelda game.
Only an idiot could have written this
Sony and Microsoft will go the same way as Sega if Nintendo continue on with their dominance in the games industry. Halo on Wii 2 :O)
Only an idiot would say farewell Nintendo. Profit means hello. You can't have avoided nintendo in the last 5 years, their influence in the media and in the technology market is unavoidable.
Sony wand and Natal are further giving Nintendo props. Every time you say Natal you think 'Wii.' Same with Wand.
Farewell Nintendo? F...
Make a sequel, make it epic.
I remember arguing about who's console has the best graphics once... When i was still in primary school.
