I really don't think CoD can wow me again like when CoD 4 and MW2 first came out. Those games started trends, BO3 is following trends.

I'm with you. Titanfall, in my opinion, is the next best thing from CoD in its prime (CoD 4 - MW2). Really excited to see where Titanfall 2 goes but I'll keep my eye on BO3 since Treyarch is known to push for the competitive community which I like so we'll see.
The Halo CE days were something else man. I mean I was only in elementary school at the time but my neighborhood group of friends would always come over my house for LAN and local split screen all the time. Only kids in school with an Xbox that early on while everyone had a PS2. Wish I could go back. No regrets at all :)
I might have to trade in my plain black Xbox One for a Halo 5 console. I know many elitists will disagree but I really think Halo 5 will be the best Halo to date and that's coming from someone who's favorite game has been Halo since the first in 2001. I just hope that Halo 5 can bring back a community reminiscent of the Xbox/early Xbox 360 days. Truly was something special. I have complete faith in 343.

This is so depressing..I felt like this game had more potential than any other game coming out. Would've really changed the way we play horror games and god dammit now its just not happening.
Saying BF3 is any where close to the league of BF2 is blasphemy.
One of the biggest reasons to why Gears was so successful was because of Cliffy's input and direction for the first game. If it weren't for him, Gears of War would have been a different game altogether.
I don't think any CoD will ever achieve what CoD 4 achieved. It'll take another game from another franchise to give a CoD 4-like wow factor. Plus its really hard to attempt to innovate in an FPS. Every developer thinks making everything twice as fast in terms of gameplay is evolution when it usually breaks the core gameplay fundamentals. Its why I can't really play Advanced Warfare.
I used to like how they sold custom faceplates for the 360 years ago at like Best Buy and Circuit City. Would be cool to see Sony do the same but for skins to buy at retail. I'd definitely buy a TLOU themed skin.
Well I can say first-hand that Dark Souls 1 gave me the same feeling. After getting brutally stomped in DS1, other games seemed a lot easier in comparison.

Bad Company 2 was the only game at the time that got my attention away from the MW2 craze that was still in motion. BC2 is probably the last military oriented FPS I can say I loved. So many good times. Sad to see it came out 5 years ago and no word of a sequel.
Originally planned on it but the sub-par support has turned me off.
I just want a graphical overhaul for UC1 and then everything else just 60FPS and 1080p. Also add Golden Abyss since I don't have a Vita and I really wanted to play it.
I'm in the same exact position as you. I'll always be an Xbox fan first and foremost before anything even with all the ridicule and what not. Love Playstation and Nintendo but Xbox is home for me in the console space.
Same, I missed out on the PS3 version so this is a must buy for me. I loved Flower so I'll most likely love this as well.
Been thinking of selling my '06 Impala SS to get a 3rd or 4th gen Z28 Camaro. Great cars.
