The sheep came out in flocks to pick up this one, and unfortunately, I was a victim of the hype as well...
The campaign is short and unremarkable, firefight is uninspired and lacks matchmaking, and the multiplayer, well I owned it before ODST came out anyway so it's nothing new... I can't believe I paid $60 for half a game. I'll be the first to acknowledge my stupidity.
But on the other hand, does anyone want a copy of ODST for cheap? Since I feel like I wasted my mo...
I see what you guys were saying now.
And @ Major Tom: As I said in my comment, I've only played 2 GFWL games, GTA 4 and Fallout 3 so I really don't have much experience with it.
Someone woke up with sand in their vagina.... You're so pitiful. What does it matter anyway???
You're like a whiny baby. Quality over quantity. If you were a real gamer you'd be damn excited because there's some quality games coming out in the next few weeks...
For you anyway, I guess the only downside is their only coming out on PS3 - HA!
I have like GTA and Fallout 3 and I've never had a problem with it. Then again, I also own an Xbox 360 gold account too.
What exactly is the problem with it? I really can't see it. Is it just that you have to pay to play the game? I can see that being a problem for pc exclusive players definitely but I didn't think it was that wide-spread.
I love it! It's so true. If Halo was as exciting as that trailer it would probably be the best game ever made... But it's not.
Reminds me of The Halo Wars Ad campaign. They showed some bad ass CG... But no gameplay - HA!
I was speaking to a friend in party chat the first day Halo Wars came out. He put it into his xbox and started it up. The next thing he had to say was "How do I switch this to first person mode?" I nearly pissed myself laughing!!!
It seems that Sony is the first to apply it to a practical use. Very interesting technology. There's no need for Fanboys to get up in arms over this either. I mean, come on, it's not a wireless PS3 or anything.
It's advancing technology. Who cares who comes out with it first. Remember, Sony's core industry is consumer electronics just as Microsoft's core industry is operating system/software.
I may have a slight distaste for the Xbox and the way they handled their ...
Their first problem is only selling the game exclusively at 2 retailers. Not being on other store's shelves (like Walmart) severely limits their audience.
Sh!t happens. We all just live and learn. I'm firmly convinced that most girls hate video games. I'm dating a chick now that loves Wii fit but hates all other games.
So when she's around, I pay attention to her...
The second she leaves, I fire up either Halo 3 or the Uncharted 2 demo...
We're both happy, and there's no fights... Just the way I like it.
Bros before Hoes, always remember that.
My girlfriend HATED when I played anything when we lived together. I had my PS3 and Xbox in the living room and my Gaming PC in a spare room. It was like pulling teeth when I tried to play some CoD on Xbox so to avoid fights I just played on my pc a lot more.
Which lead to more fights...
Which lead to me moving out...
LESSON LEARNED: Never move in with your girlfriend.
And that Killzone 2 review was written by me too btw.
nineteenseventynine = N4G's biggest troll
And I actually am selling it because it's trash. I work for the Times Leader Newspaper in Wilkes-Barre Pennsylvania. See the link below, I made the ad myself...

Third ad from the top as of right now. It's a bunch of BS but I hate it and want to get my money back as soon as possible.
Because I wasted it on a piece of garbage rehash...
Yes, troll of the century, I do dislike Microsoft. But my liking for games are much greater than my distaste for that horrid company. 3 of my best friends bought it, so I sent it back to gamefly and purchased it myself to play the Halo Reach beta and the 3 new maps with them.
You don't know me, so continue to make half assed assumptions, I even said in an earlier comment that I was going to send it back and buy it, and the day I posted that, I went straight from work to Gamestop ...
PLEASE DON'T HATE. That unnamed exclusive demo I mentioned is Uncharted 2. The demo has almost more content than Battlefield 1943 did. Trust me, it's mp is not like KZ2 or R2 (I thought their setup's were very weak, ESPECIALLY KZ2), it's more like Halo 3, Gears, and CoD. It's that damn good...
If you played it you wouldn't hate it, I guarantee that. I just can't get enough of it and every time I put in ODST (actually the mp disc because I'm finished with the campaign and firefig...
Well it seemed a lot like the same Halo formula to me. Read my blog, I laid it all out already.
I'm ashamed to say I'm one of the 2 million sheep duped into buying this just because of the Halo name...
And you did buy Halo 3's MP twice just so you know.
Nice try.
You sure have a lot of blind loyalty. I'm glad those games are coming out in 2010 and at different times because I'd be broke if I had to buy them all for the Holiday season.
The bottom line is PS3 is where the games are at. Alan Wake looks interesting but that's about it. Next gen is PS3, the Xbox is practically obsolete already. I've never seen anything with the same graphical fidelity as KZ2, GT, or UC2 on the Xbox. Why? Because it's simply not possible.
The Xbo...
that's funny that you mentioned that, I guess you've never heard of ODST?
I count each repaired xbox as a separate console. So you would actually be on your second xbox in this case.
Killer Apps have to have a good single player and a rock solid multiplayer to go with it. If you've played the Multiplayer demo of Uncharted 2, you have to agree it's that damn good. Good enough to be spoken in the same sentence as Call of Duty, Gears of War and Halo.
If the single player is as good as reviewers are saying, then yes, PS3 indeed has it's killer app.
And for the record, just being a good game doesn't qualify something as a killer app. KZ2's single pl...
Crackdown was on this list? Infamous was far superior in my opinion. I just couldn't get into Crackdown, I hated its visual style.
You'll see the trade-ins starting to come in droves. The game was only released 2 weeks ago.
This game might even beat Halo Wars as the most traded game in history.
