I never really "stopped" gaming, but there was about a year of my life when I had no consoles, just my pc. My launch PS2 had the dreaded disc read error and I sold the first xbox. I supped up my PC and never looked back. I still do tons of PC gaming today, but my time is split between PC, PS3, and my Xbox now.

I wish I never played FF7, because I'd love to experience it all over again. That game has the most nostalgic value of any I have ever played. I think I was like 10, it consumed my summer and I enjoyed every second of it. To me, it's a masterpiece.

I'm a huge PS3 fan, but saying ODST will not sell well is just ludicrous. I mean, look at Halo Wars and how well that sold. What helped it? Well... it wasn't the gameplay, I'll tell you that. It's the Halo name on it and any game that has "Halo" anywhere in the title will sell like hotcakes.

Those are it's main specs, and it runs Crysis beautifully. Arma 2 on the other hand really kicks its ass.
Now that you reasoned out your comment 100%, I can't help but agree with you. There are parts that my framerate chopped up so much it was unbelievable. For some reasons, traversing wooded terrain does not lag me up, but the second I get into any bigger city it hitch...
Because if you have, you would know it's nowhere near the "buggiest game of all time". I have it for Steam and it's not as bad as people say. If you haven't played it there's no reason to comment negatively on it.
Have you played Socom: Confrontation around it's release date, now that was the buggiest game of all time. Let's not forget Gears 2 multiplayer before it was patched.
Xbox 360. I play a lot of PC games, noone is ever racist because they get booted. I play a lot of Killzone 2, Resistance 2, and occasionally Socom, and I never experience racism (or little kids for that matter). I play COD on my Xbox, and in almost every game I hear some sort of derogatory remark by their prominent 13 to 17 year old population. I've heard it all, whether it be homophobic or racist, nothing is sacred to the 360 community.
I recently upgraded to a Radeon 4890 and it runs every game on Max settings except for ARMA 2, and Crysis runs on max like it's nothing. I'm good for 3 years probably, and in that time, I'll be more than willing to spend another $200 on a nice card.
Like this expansion will make it a bit more like ARMA 1, mission wise. I only kinda liked 2. I thought it would be more like a small soldier in a big conflict like the first was but it's basically all about small scale Marine Recon missions. I was slightly disappointed, hopefully the expansion will be more like it's predecessor in that respect.
3 of the "Exclusives" were XBLA titles. LOL, I guess the Xbox doesn't have enough true exclusive titles outside of the Gears and Halo franchises after all.

I have not heard much of this game until recently, but from what I see, it looks quite intriguing. Definitely keeping my eye on this one..
Price is everything, that's why hordes purchased the Arcade 360. But comparatively, the PS3 is doing damn well sales wise considering it came out a year after the 360 and was much more expensive. With that said, I think a price cut really will "surge" sales as you put it. I can honestly name 10 close friends right now that have 360's, want PS3's, but were waiting for the price cut to purchase it.
