There's a Smash Brothers advert on TV at the moment in the UK which keeps telling you to 'smash anywhere', one of them being the park. The 3DS, let's be honest, is aimed at kids, so why would they go all the way to the park to play a 3DS when they wanna play on slides and swings?!
2 words, Freedom Wars. Easily blows Monster Hunter out of the water and I've only just finished the tutorial levels lol
I've only played the Vita version of season 1 and 2, they are both really good but they do have some stuttering just after it autosaves, and occasionally when the viewpoint changes, but it's still very enjoyable.
They've been in development since GTA online was launched (apparently), it's been over a year and one of the recent press releases going around a couple of sites says "we will have more information on heists for you in the new year"...
GG Rockstar, you keep releasing the DLC no-one wants (hipster stuff, seriously?!) and just ignore the DLC EVERYONE wants...
(btw, I still play GTA online at least once a week, but it still annoys me!!!)
^This!!
GTA5 is the only reason I still have my PS3 hooked up, sitting next to my PS4, as quite a few of my mates haven't upgraded to the new gen yet. I'm happy to know that I can upgrade my account but still use my character on the PS3 version though :)
I cannot WAIT to get this game on Friday, why do us Europeans have to wait a few more days to get it :(
I made sure I moved some games from my, pretty much full, 64gb card to my old 16gb card so that I have enough space for this on Friday morning, I don't want anything stopping me from playing it whilst having my breakfast lol

I'm a level 24, playing for a couple of hours a day if I can manage it, but whenever I come up against a 26+ they seem to be like bullet sponges. I played against a lvl 30 for the first time yesterday and everytime I saw him I either ran or just accepted my fate, no matter how many bullets I put into him it didn't dent his health...
(btw, I have a lvl 20 auto rifle that has about 240 damage, so it's not exactly bad either!)
I had the R4 card for my DS and online still worked perfectly, so I would guess this would be the same for the 3DS
I need this game! If it doesn't get announced for a Western release i'll just import it, the only reason i'm reluctant to get the Japanese version is because I want to import my character into the new one
The top 2 are from Nintendo games, and obviously ridiculous choices for the top 2 spots. If anything I think they do own a Wii U and are just grasping at straws to make this list and get more people to buy Wii U's...
I use it more when i'm gaming and my wife wants to watch something, just switch on the vita and carry on playing my ps4.
Or I just turn off the PS4 and play a Vita game, something that Sony are pretty bad at advertising, that Vita has brilliant games and isn't just a PS4 accessory...
It has quicker combat, 3 AI partners, and you can change your weapon from close range sword/hammer/spear to a gun on-the-fly. I picked up the first one once Crapcom decided to abandon their Playstation heritage and haven't looked back.
Between this, Toukiden and Freedom Wars i'm getting a much bigger Monster Hunting fix than I did with the MH!
They got rid of the metacritic rating scheme quite a while ago, it started as being anything over 70 but now anything goes.
I would love to play Knack though
@mydying "And, unlike Mario, Assassins Creed is the same basic game,". So just mindlessly stomping on Goombas for the past 30yrs isn't the same basic game?
Don't get me wrong, I enjoy the OLD Mario games, but the new ones feel exactly the same just with newer graphics.
@Yetter apparently you can use it to play offline co-op games via the internet. I know that sounds like a slightly redundant statement as most games now have online multi-player, but for those that still want to use couch co-op you can do that with your friends online aswell.
I know i'll be using it when my brother gets his PS4 with Fifa, as I don't buy Fifa games but just play the demos, and just play some games against him from the comfort of my own home :)
Your comment has been copy and pasted into the article's comment section (not by me btw). I wonder what the author thinks of it...
@abzdiine Freedom Wars, Next Friday for EU or a few days earlier for US, BUY IT! Biggest game coming to the Vita, and most anticipated by pretty much the whole Vita community
Ethernet > Wifi imo. Unstable connections on online games get really annoying, and it still bemuses me why Nintendo refuse to include Ethernet on a games console when so many people use them on the other consoles...
According to my industry insider it will be called the New New New Wii U, have a slightly improved processor and a new button that looks like a nipple.
You heard it here first folks!
2 Vita titles come to mind that would be nice if the rest of the dev's followed suit. Freedom Wars and Tearaway were both £20 digital in the UK, the regular price for these type of games at digital & retail is £30+. THAT is how games should be priced on the digital stores and not the current model of the same price as retail, or in most cases at least £5-£10 more!
It's just a shame that games like CoD can sell for pretty much whatever price t...
