I played Watch_Dogs on my lunch break at work. Ps4 at home, Vita at work with my Xperia SP used as a wireless hotspot. Worked flawlessly, I was shocked! Got to love that 4G connection haha
I hate CoD and FPS games, have for years thanks to oversaturation in the market, but I am truly excited about this one! Although most of that excitement is because it reminds me of Unreal Tournament, but this will be the first CoD game I buy :)
When I stupidly bought a DS just for Pokémon (which the DS versions were boring imo) I had 5 games for it, the rest looked uninteresting or too childish for me.
My Vita has an imported 64gb card that I have filled up, a 32gb card half full, and an 8gb card I stupidly thought would be big enough when i first got it that may have to be used for more games lol. I have so many amazing games on my Vita that i seriously do not know what to play everytime i turn it on.
The amount of times I got hacked and the guy was just chilling in a car that I had run past about 10 times lol!!
I enjoyed the online more than the actual game as well, and surprisingly the online races were amazing (even with the subpar driving physics lol)
It's not shit, just average imo. The game had so much promise, the idea of a GTA game where you can hack the city and play with pretty much everything was a really cool concept. It was just let down by average writing, forgettable characters, and subpar driving physics...
I did like the game, and have completed it (still need to beat the side missions though, which there are a lot!), but I didn't get that 'I need to finish this game and play it for hours' fe...
"Nintendo opening up to fans" - but still ignoring them when they ask for region free consoles...gg...
Can never have too much Vita, I love mine, and after the farce that was Gamescom a few weeks before where the Vita was treated like a ginger stepchild it needed the attention it deserved!
Now if only they would announce that God Eater 2: Rage Burst will be coming to the West...
GTA London HD edition? You heard it here first!!
Vice City is still my favourite GTA, I really hope they bring it back!
Although all I ended up doing was racing around the map collecting my money from the businesses then entering the night club with a minigun and killing everyone then trying to avoid the cops on the way out...Memories :D
They are actually splitting their current fanbase between people that buy the 'new' 3DS and the original 3DS, in one hell of a confusing business move. 2 handhelds in the same gen by the same company but one of them can play more games than the other whilst both having the same name...yup, great business decision there...
EDIT: Also, what about the people who use foreign language games to learn the language they are interested in. I'm learning Japanese and Japa...
A little known fact (only found out myself when I started importing) is that most Far East games have a Japanese and Asian version.
The Japanese version tends to be 100% Japanese, maybe with a few little bits of English (which the Japanese language has a few of anyway).
The Asian version tends to be Chinese AND English language and you can choose which one to use.
Obviously check before you buy, but this is what I've discovered when looking at games I...
Good article. There will also be people who troll each other on forums/games, but the majority of us are upstanding people so we can just block them or take the higher ground by not rising to it.
Opinions will always differ between people, and sometimes it's just best to agree to disagree and move on!
I hope he enjoys some 1 vs 0 on Titanfall :P
I'm surprised there was only 1 guy though, we all know Xbox is dead in Japan, but it did tend to have a few dedicated fans out there. Seems even they don't want an Xbone...
I can't read the article at work, but I hope one of the points raised is reducing the ridiculous price for digital games and stopping retailers from forcing the digital prices to be the same as boxed versions...
Digital is the future, and retailers need a MASSIVE kick in the face to start them accepting it. They can still operate, but just by selling digital credit for PSN/XBL and maybe with redeemable cards for full games so people will still go into the stores and sta...
If one of those 7 reasons was "You will get a much better job so you can afford to upgrade your PC every year" then maybe I would have listened, but alas it is not...
Maybe it's just because I got so used to importing games for my PS3/PSP/Vita, but I just don't understand why in this day and age certain games companies still region lock consoles or games anymore.
Surely, from a business standpoint, a sale is a sale, you are getting profit and your customer is happy. Import gamers are generally a small section of the market (I only started because I was learning Japanese almost purely to play games that I would never get in the U...
Hopefully they can make a Vita version in that space of time, seeing as all the bits are still there from the PSP version...
Funny thing is I feel like Kojima still prefers the Playstation, maybe it was a Konami decision to go multi-plat.
Look at the recent MGSV trailer showing off the boxes, Snake had a PS4 box on his head lol. I'd be surprised if he did the same thing on the Xbox version (obviously with an Xbox box instead of PS4)
Mad about new console generations? Nope
Mad about a revision of existing generation hardware that makes your current version inferior and seem useless and will be unable to play a certain amount of games? Yes
Chuck Norris roundhouse kicked his Xbox One and changed it into a PS4
