It's not a bad design for MS, but a bad design for the consumer. Rather than buy a cheap off-the-shelf drive you will have to buy the MS proprietary HDD for double the price (at least, this was the case during the 360 lifecycle)
Upgraded my PS4 to have a 2tb HDD and i'm never looking back, all digital for me this gen especially as all the physical games need to be fully installed on the HDD before playing now anyway. Might as well save myself the shelf space and just have them all on my HDD instead :)
Ummm, i'm sure this stuff happens on both the Playstation and Xbox anyway... everytime Sony update the T&C's you have to agree before you can sign back in meaning quite a few of your games won't work before you do so...

How about just getting the 'free' PS Plus version out for a start... then we can talk about compensation for those of us that wanted to try out the Plus version before thinking of upgrading.

I'm a massive JRPG fan, and I'm trying to work out why I prefer them to western RPG's, and the main reasons I can think of are:
Western RPG's are pretty much always dark (worlds and stories)
Main character is pretty much always a beefcake with a chip on his shoulder
Far too many of them are set in medieval times
Obviously there are exceptions to the rule, but it can be pretty difficult to find a JRPG that has an incredibl...

Also, the Vita sells a ridiculous amount of software per user (e.g. I have 70 games on my Vita!) so even if the hardware sales aren't great Sony are still making money on it quite easily.
I need to make sure I finish the original before next year then lol. I'm pretty much finished all the single player quests and about halfway through the multi-player ones so shouldn't take me too long :)
I thought controls were really solid, the only thing I had an issue with was the communication with other Mudokans as I was so used to using the different shoulder buttons from the PS1 game but after playing for a while it just became second nature to use the d-pad instead.
Can't wait for the Vita version to be released as well!
I didn't even know this game existed! That's another game for me to buy, and with GTA5 HD coming out a few days afterwards i'm going to be broke! lol
They're on all the carriers in the UK, so I find it really odd that only 1 or 2 carriers in America can stock them... maybe we have a fairer market for these things?! I'm not sure lol
Could even go further afield than them... like London :) I loved the PS1 version of that game, would be nice to return there, or just anywhere outside of America lol

I've been pretty much counting the days since the PS4 version was released, just waiting for the Vita version, COME ON MOJANG RELEASE IT ALREADY!!!
I'm gonna get it either way, I loved the PS3 version and always wanted a PS4 version so I can finally retire my PS3. If I have to pay £40 it's ok, but it would be nice to just have a small upgrade fee instead, hopefully similar to the minecraft upgrade where even disc owners can take advantage of the upgrade price.
I was thinking more the 'look at these hundreds of titles from big studios in Japan that are finally coming to the west' attention.
The AAA games are there and still being made, but it will all stop if the native hack is made.
I know it's inevitable, but I really hope the Vita doesn't get hacked too easily. I loved my PSP before it got hacked, then the games just stopped being made for it thanks to the rampant piracy and I don't want the same to happen to the Vita now that it's getting the attention it deserves.
