I personally feel this could have almost have a Wii U effect where the average consumer is not sure which games it will and won't play, and whether or not it's the right console for them due to the confusion and will just end up getting the original 3DS instead, therefore negatively affecting the sales of the new hardware.
The Vita has 2 analogs as standard, and I don't know how I managed for so long without it on the PSP.
EDIT: Just read the article lol. It's nice that Nintendo have added a 2nd stick, but surely it should have been added to start with instead of pretty much forcing people to buy an add-on for it or a completely 'new' handheld to get something the competition has done REALLY well.
All you had to mention was Goldeneye from that list, there has still yet to be a better multiplayer FPS after all these years, and loads of people bought the N64 just for that!
I absolutely adore my PS4....but I had to vote for the PS2 which is still my favourite console by far :)
Vita, definitely.

A pokemon game that isn't boring? It's been the same story for years with slightly different characters and progressively poorly designed 'new' pokemon. Gold was the last good game, the ones on GBA weren't bad, but the DS one's were just poor.
If they made an exciting, and decidedly new, pokemon game I might actually have a need to pick up a 3DS. Come on Nintendo, make an original fan want to buy the game!
It was actually a demo, and the same worked the other way around (Spyro the dragon had a demo of Crash 3 in it!), but I do agree that having a full demo of a 'new gen' game inside another 'new gen' game was brilliant!!

As a massive Playstation fan, and an eternal hater of Microsoft, I must say this is the first time I have ever envied any Xbox owners.
I really want this to come to PS4 ASAP, I don't even play that many sports games other than the demos but for this price I would play a hell of a lot more of them!

Same here, I've been holding out until it reached about £10 (I refuse to spend more than that on a game I will finish in under an hour...) so that's the first thing on my list especially with that 25% PS+ discount :)

I remember when GTA3 came out loads of people in my school were saying that if you got in a boat and drove far enough off the map you would arrive at 'Disneyland' with loads of people wearing mouse ears whilst armed to the teeth ready to greet you.... I spent a good few hours trying that one lol
I didn't bother reading this flamebait article, as enough of it was given away by the title, but a few of those titles that the description is almost touting as PC exclusive are coming to consoles.
Also, the steambox may be a PC, but they are made for convenience, ease of use, and to directly attach to your TV in the living room. Do you know what else has the exact same mantra? Oh, is that games consoles? I guess it is!

Awesome!!! I've only just finished 1 and 2 on my Vita (never actually played them when they originally came out...) and would love to play them again with all the modern updates.

Western Release Pls!!!! I keep getting really close to importing Ryu ga Gotoku 5 but I know my kanji and Japanese knowledge are not good enough for a game this deep (I can manage on simpler games, but JRPG's have a lot of difficult language in them...)
Let's say that, hypothetically, a new Pokémon game is released and needs the new features that the 'new' 3DS brings. That's an incredibly large portion of the fanbase who would not be able to play it and would then need to upgrade their 3DS to play it.
I'm sure Ninty wouldn't be stupid enough to make Pokémon only New 3DS compatible, but if the uptake isn't that great then my example above could be a reality with one hell of a fan backla...
