@yi-Long: Exactly. Sean Murray said that the chance of running into someone else would be next-to-non-existent. Which implies that you could theoretically run into another person at some point.
And yet there are multiple videos on YouTube of people landing on the exact same planet at the exact same time, and walking to the exact same spot....and nobody else is there. Because you don't share the universe with anyone. It was all bullshit.
Uh...the Gone Home devs raised 15k for a charity that provides shelter and health services for homeless people. It also provides help services for LGBT teens and young adults, since they have some of the highest rates of homelessness, depression and victims of violence in any group.
Maybe try actually reading an article before providing snarky commentary on it.
Methinks he might end up being disappointed with FFXV. If he thought the previous games were "cringey anime crap" then FFXV looks no better or worse than those games.
To be fair, Ellone is never fully explained. How exactly is she able to send a person's consciousness back in time? Why is she the only person who can do this? Is she a special sort of sorceress? Or something else entirely? It's honestly never explained.
It doesn't make a lot of sense that Ultimecia is able to use Junction Machine Ellone in the future. After this reveal by Odine, the party could very well just destroy the machine in the present, burn the plans, ...
My biggest fear is that they would remake the characters' appearance in that generic cutesy anime style that a lot of FF games have had recently (e.g. Dissidia, FFXIII and sequels, FF Type-0). I think Squall and Rinoa had a really interesting look to them in the original game (especially Rinoa's big-ass eyebrows), and Squall's look in Dissidia erased a lot of the 'character' in his face by making his eyes really big and his chin super pointy.
Yeah, a proper sequel would probably suck based on how badly Square butchered Tidus and Yuna's story in that stupid official audio-drama that came out with the remaster. So apparently Yuna broke up with Tidus, and Tidus is now a blitzball star (but not a very good one anymore??), and Yuna is going on a journey with her new boyfriend and Tidus plans to follow her because he still loves her......ugh, Square, what were you thinking!
I've never considered Final Fantasy to be a "cringey anime crap" sort of series. Sure, the art style of FF7 and FF9 (and even FF10 to an extent) look pretty anime-ish. But a big reason I've enjoyed them over the years is because they DON'T have a lot of the stupid anime cheesiness and cringey humor that a lot of other JRPGs have.
Sounds more like you're judging them based on how they look, and not their actual content. I don't see how FFXV is ...
Choosing Laguna isn't that strange. A lot of FF fans have him on their favourites list. Probably because he gets more development than most of the main FF8 cast (who aren't Squall and Rinoa) and has a more likeable personality too.
I might feel sadder for them if like 90% of war games didn't already have white characters as the protagonist. People claim race shouldn't matter, but then throw a fit when the main character's race isn't white. I don't get it.
Yeah I don't understand how so many games of this generation and last generation don't just have a "push forward to walk, push further forward to run" option.
If this is what nevin1 considers 'average', I wanna know where he lives!

And her boobs look fine to me!
Metal Gear Solid is on the list?? GTFO!
It's an interview with a dev. Of course she's going to be promoting her own game in an interview ABOUT her game.
Yakuza 6 won't tell me if Ryo will finally avenge his father's death.
Sad, but true. If there's one thing I really hate about modern games, it's how many hints they give you if you fail something multiple times or take too long to find something. Sometimes i just wanna discover it by myself. Not have the game hand-hold me if it think I'm not completing an objective fast enough.
Still, it's a bit of a stretch. Thats like having a Chinese character named Wang Shun and writing an article about how the developers litterally called him Dick.
This is one of my biggest problems with modern horror movies. There doesnt need to be a loud noise or "stinger" sound everytime something scary appears on screen. Sometimes simply seeing a killer or ghost in the background (while the ptotagonist walks around oblivious) with absolutely no noise is scary enough.
I'm playing it for the 1st time and am having a blast with it. The atmosphere and mystery is incredible. Its been a while since I've been this compelled by a game!
Tacky comment.
She has a degree in Industrial Design Engineering and worked in the game industry for years before getting te job as lead game designer. You really think she only got where she is by flirting and being pretty? >_>
@Opinionated: I don't know why I'm bothering to feed the troll here. Especially when it doesn't take too much brain power to figure out why gay teens might have a higher rate of being kicked out of home than straight ones. Or why the average teen or young adult generally can't afford to move to a different city/town, let alone one who is homeless and likely has no access to money/job/connections/etc.
But you want peer-reviewed statistics? Okay, here you go: ...
