I hope there's an option to turn the music up and the sound effects down. I've seen so many clips where the music is difficult to hear or not even there :(
I'm worried about the lack of music in so many clips too. The soundtrack is on youtube and it seems to have themes for each level so maybe I'm just being paranoid, but one thing I've noticed about every clip so far is the complete lack of music or really quiet music in the background that is really hard to hear
They aren't referring to sexuality or an agenda. A "straight man" in a movie is a down-to-earth and by-the-book character who usually keeps the eccentric side-characters in check (e.g. John Watson is the "straight man" to Sherlock Holmes' eccentric cocaine-addicted weirdness. Most of Jason Bateman and Leslie Nielson's roles are the "straight man" next to strange or crazy side characters).

I love Banjo Kazooie but whether it does everything 'better' than Mario 64 is a matter of taste. Personally I'm not keen on 'collectathons' so the repetitive nature of collecting all the jiggies, notes, and jinjoes makes Banjo a more difficult game to replay. You spend a lot of time in the same worlds just collecting as much as you can, and it just doesn't have the same focus that Mario 64 had.

RE5 was pretty terrible in the middle. There are entire chapters (the villages populated by grass-skirt wearing tribesmen, the ruins, the crazy ancient puzzles, etc) that could have been cut out and the story would barely be an different. It was unnecessary filler. As though Capcom wrote a story and realized 'oh shit, our story is only 40 minutes long. Quickly add some African villages and Tomb Raider temples to pad it out!"
I personally disliked the Japanese one as much as the English one. The English one was weak, but the Japanese one had that awful over-the-top screeching cry that so many female characters in anime have.
The French and Spanish versions nailed the crying. Heartfelt and actually sounded like a real person crying.

It's sad that we live in a world where nobody bats an eye at male characters doing fantastical and unrealistic things because they're the hero, but as soon as a female character does only one thing that's unrealistic, she must be "catering to sjws" and "made to appease Anita". It's frustrating that so many female characters are questioned nowadays. Everybody assumes there's some sort of agenda behind their existence :(
I'm not too worried about the length. I beat FF7 the first time in just over 30 hours and I didn't rush through it. Quality over quantity.
Yeah i think the FF10 cover was pretty good for the graphics alone. I remember seeing a pucture of Tidus for the first time when the game came out and thinking 'wow he looks so real. I NEED to play this game!'
