Got this pre-ordered already. If this and BO2 let me down, I'll still have Borderlands 2!
The 2010 MoH didn't use the Unreal engine. It was built with Frostbite.
Awesome! I have a feeling this game will surprise a lot of people.
Kinda reminds me of Crawmerax. GOOD GOOD!
I think a lot of that has to do with the terrible connections that CoD has become known for as well.
"Extensive Customization of Emblems" is not confirmed yet.
I want it to be, but considering some of the racist/hateful emblems people came up with in BO1, it wouldn't hurt my feelings if they stripped it down a little.
Hopefully so. This would probably make the game a little more fun.
You people need to learn reading comprehension again. He clearly states in the article that they are doing this because they haven't gotten to see any of the things they'd like to such as the Grand Canyon since they've been working so hard to get their businesses off the ground.
They want to buy a camper/RV, see the sights, visit family, and ultimately settle down in Florida to raise a family.
All clearly stated in the article.
Got my copy pre-ordered, and I'm fidgeting in my seat waiting for this damn thing to make it's way into my hands. The next month is going to be torture!
Yeah! Their onion rings don't taste as good as ones made with TRUE onions!
I agree with you that MW3 was jacked up. IMO, it had the worst map design out of any CoD to date.
Also, you won't have to wait long for more info. David Vonderhaar from Treyarch said there will be a full MP reveal at Gamescom later this month.
I wish quickscoping would be gone since it's more of an annoyance to me than anything. But, I'd have to say the appearance of a bolt-action sniper rifle with iron sights suggests that quickscoping will be back in full force.
When he deploys it and gets the kill assists from it, it's called the Guardian.
It's probably based on the microwave emitter weapon that the US military is experimenting with.
It bombards the target(s) with microwaves, disorients them, and makes their skin feel like it's burning. I'm wondering if the BO2 version will just disorient or damage as well.
No kidding! Don't get me wrong there were some genuinely powerful moments in there. Like the scene in the beginning where the kid is forced to watch his parents be executed and then starts crying is heart-wrenching!
There were some really bad design choices made.
CoD4 was good, but I much prefered W@W over MW1. Treyarch seem to actually take what IW did with the previous title and at least TRY to improve/innovate on it. Where as IW has this God Complex, where they think everything they touch is gold and they don't need help from anyone else.
It wasn't a bad game, but it wasn't a great one either. The multiplayer had some serious problems from Day 1, and the AI in the single player was terrible!
Crytek is handling the development so it can't be worse than the first one...can it?
In no particular order:
Fable 3
Brink
Homefront
Halo: Reach
I believe it first appeared as the Invincibility Code for the original Contra. Since then, it appeared in a crap-ton of different Konami games.
Don't care what the producers/designers/devs say. Loved the first game, and based on what I've seen thus far, I will love the second game.
Screw the internet's over blown reaction!
