I don't know why everyone's hating on Rage so much. You all must have been playing a vastly different version of the game than I did.
It worked perfectly fine for me. My only gripe about it was the texture load times, but I had my version installed to the HDD and it only took 2 seconds or less for them to fully load.
Other than that, the game was great!
Already have mine pre-ordered. This is my most anticipated game of the year!
Then you are missing out. The single player campaign is probably one of the most underrated to come out in a while.
And, I consider myself an "honest gamer", and I can "honestly" say that I enjoyed the multiplayer quite a bit. Sure it had it's issues, but for me it was right up there with Bad Company 2.
It's not hard to raise the bar when the bar is on the floor.
To be fair, there were some good ideas and gameplay mechanics in the first Homefront. They just weren't executed very well.
So, excited for this game! Now I'm glad I have more than 4 saved games on my 360. BRING ON THE WUB-WUB!
Kran, the only reason I can think of is we Halo fans can be..."special".
It ended on a cliffhanger. That's the main reason that I can figure. I didn't care that it ended the way it did. I still loved the game.
I completely agree with you. I had a feeling this was coming when he stepped down as host of Feedback.
For me, Feedback has sucked every since. Hell, G4 as a whole has been going down hill since they jumped on the reality show bandwagon.
None of those are new. They were all taken from the gameplay trailer.
Insanely rabid or rabidly insane?
Anyway, I completely agree with what you said. I would get bored working on the same thing year after year after year getting hate mail and death threats from a bunch of immature people.
Best of luck to your future endeavors, Mr. Bowling.
Have no fear. It was announced some time last month, I think, that Danger Close is doing both SP and MP for this game.
I think Denis Leary would be better as Garrus than Willam Defoe.
Actually, Lugia, what filled Reach with randomness was not the DMR. It was reticule bloom combined with the shot spread.
343 Industries was created for the sole purpose of overseeing the Halo franchise since Bungie is with Activision now and not Microsoft.
Doesn't matter whether they did or not. Death threats are still uncalled for.
Wow, dude. Really?
They aren't banning users from playing the game if that's what you were implying. They are banning users from their forums for making DEATH THREATS OVER FREAKING DLC!
Their reasons are completely justified.
Wow! Death threats over day 1 DLC? That is really pathetic!
Well, the info came from 4chan, so that tells me right there that it isn't true.
I loved the MP from MOH 2010. Played it long enough to max out all 3 classes.
I never really had a problem with the Snipers in game, and I enjoy sniping myself. There was only one map that I always sniped on though.
I hope they add more maps, more guns, and more unlocks this time around.
What kills me is most of the people that comment on stuff like this with hate for Carmack have to be at least in their mid to late teens.
If they weren't, most of them would realize that video games wouldn't be where they are today if it weren't for the work that Carmack and ID did back in the day.
The man is a damn Rocket Scientist for christ's sake. I think he knows what he's doing.
