He meant that the console will not play CDs as in MUSIC CDs. The console still has to have a drive to play the blu-ray discs that the games will be printed on.
If that is indeed the real console, I like it. It has a nice sleek minimalist design that is very modern looking and appealing.
I agree. I think this game would be better if they'd stuck to the original Overstrike premise that they showed at E3. The turn to a serious TPS just left me feeling meh.
I'd say that dedicated servers matter more than Pick 10.

Crytek has been working on Homefront 2 for a year two now.
One game won't win a generation. Hell, 3 games won't win a generation. It takes a combination of solid titles that engage the consumers, makes them want to play the games, tell their friends about those games, which in-turn causes consoles to be bought.
One game alone will not achieve this no matter how successful it is.

I fail to see how this movie will suck. Insomniac is having an advisory roll in the making of the movie; the original voices of Capt. Quark, Ratchet, and Clank are in it; and the team that wrote the scripts for the games are writing the movie's script.

Agreed. I've often wondered if I am the only person that thinks the final KZ2 product was better than the demo that was shown at E3. Looking back now and comparing the two, the E3 demo looked like crap.
That and getting rid of quickscoping.
