I'm with you on that. I had my copy pre-ordered as soon as they started accepting them.

I know you can set restrictions and such and even label an account as a "Child Account," but I'm not quite sure what that allows you to do.
Or at least properly scale them down to fit the smaller player count.
They are keeping the old characters. They are just NPCs now.

They used to have an option to filter out custom servers when you were using the Server Browser, but it didn't work. :/

Game of the Year is subjective and purely based on opinion.
And my opinion for Game of the year will be between either Halo 4 or Borderlands 2.
It's not about being perfect. It's about throwing the continuity of the stroyline established in the first 2 games out the window. It's about ultimately having all of the choices you made in the first 2 games not matter.
It's about Casey Hudson locking himself away in a room to write the ending himself without any input from the rest of the writers, and expecting everyone else to be able to read his mind about what he meant for the ending to mean.

Same here. And I don't think the Mechromancer is Day 1 DLC either.
I don't think Gearbox have said that the Mechromancer will be Day 1 DLC. To my knowledge they have only said that she will be available within 90 days of the release.
It doesn't matter to me either way since I've pre-ordered BL2. I would have paid for the Mechromancer even if I hadn't!
Nope. For me, Game of the Year is between Borderlands 2 and Halo 4.

If I'd know stuff like this and the Jak & Daxter collection were coming out, I never would have gotten rid of my PS3.
