I'm with you there.
To me it's because BC2 was built around humor and fun. Where as with BF3 it feels like it takes itself to seriously.
This is a day one pre-order purchase for me! No questions asked! Borderlands is probably one of my favorite games of all time. I was ridiculously excited when they announced that it was getting a sequel, and after seeing this trailer, I just want to through my $64 at Gearbox and shout, "GIVE IT ME!!!"
Between this, ME3, and Halo 4 all of my free time is spoken for!

I agree. Pretty graphics are nice, but gameplay and story should come first. Look at a game like Borderlands for example, it was cel-shaded and is one of my favorite games of all time!

All of your reasons, I think, are why I liked Call of Duty: World at War so much.
Personally, I wouldn't mind playing another WW2 game. Not necessarily CoD or Battlefield, but I think another WW2-themed game with solid multiplayer could be fun.
I freaking hate Dome! It doesn't flow well with team game types. It should be relegated to either FFA or Team Tactical and that's it!
Personally, I don't know if I have a favorite MW3 map. They said they wanted to eliminate camping, so they clutter up the maps and give people more corners to camp around. Explain that logic to me.
Actually, now that I think about it, I'd have to say Mission is my favorite map.

Once I played the demo, it confirmed what I'd been thinking for a while; This game will be everything Fable should have been!

I don't understand how tweaking attachments will nerf a gun like the FAMAS that has a high fire rate and high power.
Borderlands 2, Bioshock Infinite, Halo 4, and Rainbow Six: Patriots are my go-to FPSs for next year. I'm still not completely sold on Dust 514 yet. It looks like it could be good, but I'll need to know more about it before I make up my mind.
I can't remember if it's coming out next year, but Overstrike from Insomniac is another that I'm really looking forward to.
Also, a new CoD will be coming out in 2012. Since it's Treyarch's ...
Personally, I wish I had never bought Brink or Homefront. 2 games that had such great potential, but were ultimately disappointments.
Last I read on their site, they are making a sci-fi FPS.
