You don't even know how it will play on the ps4 yet. Don't assume the developers are speaking from a technical standpoint rather than a damage control standpoint.

frostbite being one of the better optimized engines and great for benchmarking. Is not up to par in terms of hit registry and fluidity. Basically its sh*t for true competitive gaming.
the Source engine that Titanfall is built on has been optimized over the years to give you fluid gameplay with optimal hit registry. Balance and alot of the competitive fun-factor in an fps begins with these very very basic fundamentals. Often overlooked by ambitious developers.

ummmm dayz standalone sold 1.5 million by itself with zero dollars spent on a marketing budget. Even if Valve were to take 30% of its cut BIS still made over 20 million on a game in alpha. Not to mention how many more millions the day-z mod pushed Arma 2 sales...

Not just steam. But a lot of digital distribution services on pc do this. This is logically the next step for console digital distribution to take. Surprised its taken this long

Yup for pc gamers it means no more having to hookup their gaming rig to the big screen. you plug in your steambox, grab your controller and you can play at whatever settings your gaming pc can handle.
This truly is a killer app.

I'm an avid PC gamer. I have a ps4 and Wii U in the living room also.
I've noticed also that my ps4 hardly gets any use nowadays other then to login crunchyroll.
Wii U tablet controller is just so freakin awesome. Can't wait till the pc mods for it start rollin it.
if Valve is taking the rumored 30% cut. BIS/Dean have added a cool $21 million dollars to their bank account.

Ah the old JP Onry. It's funny I don't see this on NA servers. Though what I do see is people gear checking everyone before a DF starts and seeing "wow someone got carried"
yet they sell season passes which is probably the single most contributing factor when it comes to alienating fans.
Let's not kid ourselves. Sony has a history of not pushing the hardware they come out with. Sony's VR headset imo will underperform compared to the Rift and will probably cost a lot more.
